1. Identify a perennial problem in your barangay.
2. Write an initial proposal to your barangay chairman that will give him or her an idea on what your research will be all about. It should be written in not more
than three pages.
3. In your proposal, write a short background of the problem, your purpose for conducting this research, your three practical questions, the approach you will be
using, and an overview of what each succeeding part of the report would contain.
4. Document your sources properly. Use the prescribed documentation style of your teacher.
5. Submit your work on a short bond paper, via Gmail or google drive, and use Times New Roman font size 12, double spaced.

    PERFORMANCE TASK: Goal Your taskis to write a research proposal on possible solutions to a current community problem. Role You are a member of the youth council in your barangay. Audience Your target audience are your barangay officials and members of your community. Situation A perennial problem has not been solved in your community and you feel like the solutions you researched can help address it. Your job is to identify the cause of this problem and create feasible solutions that can be helpful in solving this problem. Product Write a research proposal to provide feasible solutions to a current community problem. 1. Identify a perennial problem in your barangay. 2. Write an initial proposal to your barangay chairman that will give him or her an idea on what your research will be all about. It should be written in not more than three pages. 3. In your proposal, write a short background of the problem, your purpose for conducting this research, your three practical questions, the approach you will be using, and an overview of what each succeeding part of the report would contain. 4. Document your sources properly. Use the prescribed documentation style of your teacher. 5. Submit your work on a short bond paper, via Gmail or google drive, and use Times New Roman font size 12, double spaced.
