This document provides an overview of Hilda Taba's model of curriculum development. It discusses that Taba believed curriculum should be developed through an inductive and grassroots approach, starting with identifying students' needs. The major steps in Taba's model are: 1) Diagnosing needs, 2) Formulating objectives, 3) Selecting content, 4) Organizing content, 5) Selecting learning experiences, 6) Organizing learning experiences, and 7) Evaluating. Taba argued curriculum should promote democratic education and be experiential for students.
