The tender price includes a 6% GST on all material prices.
This document provides details on the procurement strategy for a proposed RM 1.2 billion hotel and shopping complex development project in Kuala Lumpur. It recommends using a traditional procurement method with two-stage selective tendering. For the procurement, traditional method is suggested as it allows the client full design control and cost certainty. For tendering, two-stage selective tendering is proposed as it provides a transparent contractor selection process while ensuring only qualified contractors bid. The document also justifies the choices of lump sum contract and PAM 2006 form of contract for the arrangement.
This document discusses procurement methods, tendering procedures, contract arrangements, and health and safety considerations for a professional practice group project. It defines procurement as obtaining something through a demand preparation and processing process. Traditional procurement involves appointing consultants and is suitable for industry newcomers. Two-stage selective tendering eliminates non-performing contractors. A lump sum contract with a fixed sum according to specifications is recommended. Health and safety files document project hazards and services for subsequent projects.
This document contains an elemental cost analysis for the proposed corporate headquarters of Bristol Trading Sdn Bhd. It includes summaries of the building specifications, contract details, floor plans, and a functional unit cost analysis breaking down costs by element, including substructure, superstructure, finishes, fittings and furnishings, services, and external works. Key figures provided are the total contract sum of RM4,898,990 and a breakdown of costs per square meter of gross floor area for each structural and design element.
The document introduces the importance of project cost estimating at different stages. At the pre-contract stage, estimating helps provide clients a clear picture of costs to plan budgets and ensure the successful tender does not exceed budgets. At the pre-tender stage, estimating provides assurance of a project's value and allows subcontractors to determine if they can submit a tender. At the post-contract stage, estimating aids in cash flow control and ensuring the final account matches the initial estimate. The document also discusses methods of estimating, tendering, and preliminaries items which are temporary works required by the main contractor but do not form work packages.
This document provides a summary of a group report comparing BIM QS software. It discusses the functions of Vico Office Takeoff Manager including 2D to 3D management, 3D modeling, clash detection, layout, quantity takeoff, 4D scheduling, 5D estimating, and reporting. Limitations include only allowing one model at a time and requiring time to complete 3D models. CostX, Buildsoft, Cubit, and Cubisoft software are also compared in terms of their functions and limitations for quantity surveying. The benefits and constraints of BIM, CAD, and manual measurement are analyzed for different project stages.
This document is a group report submitted by six students for a course on software applications for quantity surveying. It provides an overview and analysis of four quantity surveying software: Vico Office Takeoff Manager, CostX, Buildsoft Cubit, and Cubicost. For each software, the document describes their key functions and limitations. It also explains how the software can be used to assist with measurements at different stages of construction projects, from preparation to post-construction. The group report aims to compare the four software and convey how well each supports taking off quantities from building information models.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

1.1 Introduction
Community service is work
done by a person or group of people that
benefits others. It is often done near the
area where you live, so your own
community reaps the benefits of your
work. It helps any group of people in
need such as children, senior citizens,
and people with disabilities and many
more. There are hundreds of ways to
participate in community service including working with schoolchildren, senior citizens,
helping out in improving the environment, helping low-income people, visiting
orphanages and so on.
As part of our assignment, we were decided to visit and teach the children from
orphanage at Rumah Kebajikan Karunai Illam located at Kepong. For this assignment, we
were to educate and teach them about life and making them happy and through the fun
activities we conducted on that day.
First of all, to understand the kids in the foster home, it is essential to know the
needs and what had they been though in their lives. Most of the children are placed
in foster care typically because they have been removed from their homes by the state
due to lack of proper care, the parents or guardians are unable to care for their children
for various reasons. Hence, it was not easy for the children to growing up without the
love and care of a family.
Therefore, throughout this assignment enable us to connect and understand them
more to let them know that they are not alone as there is always people out there who still
cares for them. To let them feel loved and wanted is our main goals. Not only that,
throughout this visit, it makes me feels more appreciated on what we have and learn to
spread love and happiness to the people around us.

1.7 Reflection
To conclude, I would like to express my utmost gratitude to Ms Tay Shir Men for giving
us the chance to participate in such meaningful charity work. It enables us to be united as
a team in working out something memorable and bringing out happiness to the orphans
Apart from that, as a member in finance team, it gives me the obligation to control and
manage the money allocation on each of the expenditure spent all along this assignment.
Besides, as a facilitator also gives me the opportunity to get to know the children
more as well as understand them through the activities conducted on the event day. It
make me realized that they are actually friendly and really grateful that they enjoyed.
Able to put a smile on their face was our greatest achievement on that day. It makes us
feels even happier to see them actually laughed and even cherish each other throughout
the activities. Hope to see them understand the meaning of teamwork and learn to share
and helping friends in any situation as that was one of our objectives of the day.
Moreover, I would like to thank all my groupmates and not to forget our
commander and deputy commander with the helps and cooperating to make this event
successful. Without them, this event wouldn’t be as successful. Not only to let the kids
understand the importance of teamwork. Along the way in planning all these activities
also let us understand the importance of team work and also learning to manage our time
properly in order to making sure all the events are under control. Last but not least, we
