sedmom mjesecu, prvoga dana u mjesecu,
dok su još bili zdravi, priredio im je gozbu
od jela i vina.
3 Kad se ujutro probudio, reče im:
"Umirem." i nisu mu vjerovali.
4 I dok je slavio Gospodina, ojačao je i
rekao da će nakon jučerašnje gozbe
umrijeti.
5 Tada je počeo govoriti: Čujte, djeco
moja, sinovi Naftalijevi, čujte riječi svoga
oca.
6 Ja sam rođen od Bilhe, a budući da je
Rahela lukavo postupala i dala Bilhu
mjesto sebe Jakovu, i ona je zatrudnjela i
rodila me na koljenima Rahelinim, zato me
je nazvala Naftali.
7 Jer Rahela me jako voljela jer sam se

stoje.
2 I gle, Izak, otac mog oca, rekao nam je;
Trčite i uhvatite ih, svatko prema svojoj
snazi; a onome tko ih zgrabi pripadat će
sunce i mjesec.
3 I mi smo svi trčali zajedno, i Levi je
uhvatio sunce, a Juda je preduhitrio ostale
i uhvatio mjesec, i obojica su bili
podignuti s njima.
4 Kad je Levi postao poput sunca, gle,
neki mu mladić dade dvanaest palminih
grančica; a Juda bijaše sjajan poput

Bog koji prebiva među ljudima na zemlji,
da spasi rod Izraelov i da okupi pravedne

26 Ako činite ono što je dobro, djeco moja,

dijete čuva u lijepom sjećanju; tako i za
dobro djelo ima lijep spomen pred Bogom.
28 Ali onoga koji ne čini ono što je dobro,
i anđeli i ljudi će proklinjati, i Bog će biti
obeščašćen među poganima preko njega, i
đavao će ga učiniti svojim posebnim
oruđem, i svaka divlja zvijer će njime
gospodariti, i Gospodin će ga mrziti.
29 Jer su zapovijedi zakona dvojake i
razboritošću se moraju ispuniti.
30 Jer postoji vrijeme kada čovjek može
zagrliti svoju ženu, i vrijeme kada se
suzdržava od toga za svoju molitvu.
31 Dakle, dvije su zapovijedi; i, osim ako
se ne izvrše u pravom redu, donose vrlo
veliki grijeh ljudima.
32 Tako je i s ostalim zapovijedima.
33 Budite dakle mudri u Bogu, djeco moja,
i razboriti, shvaćajući poredak Njegovih
zapovijedi, d zakone svake riječi, da te
Gospodin ljubi,
34 I pošto ih je zadužio mnogim takvim
riječima, potaknuo ih je da prenesu
njegove kosti u Hebron i da ga pokopaju s
njegovim ocima.
35 Kad je vesela srca jeo i pio, pokrio je
lice i umro.
36 Njegovi su sinovi učinili sve kako im je
zapovjedio njihov otac Naftali.
