Section 0
For the ePortfolio that has been developed it will discuss in detail about how there has
been individual growth in critically analyzing the business operations. There will be
discussions about how a person can survive in the modern business world. Important
skills to develop are critical analysis of the data, presentation of data succinctly,
presenting alternative viewpoints and to ensure that the data that is presented are without
any plagiarism.
While writing essay there should be a central argument that is followed by the critical
assessment of both views. There should be analysis conducted in order to ensure the
veracity of the arguments. This was essentially conducted in the essay development. The
information that is collected should not be simply paraphrasing and including information
from different sources. Essays should have a central theme. Business reports should have
clear precise information. They must have executive summary, table of contents, contents
and conclusions. This should be followed by reference and appendix.
In order to avoid plagiarism there should be proper referencing system in place. This
system should be uniform and followed in majority of the places. Harvard system of
referencing is used by majority of the institutions. They follow the author date system. It
is considered to be an effective system that has certain specific rules of reference for each
of the sources.
Business presentation is considered to be effective. It should not follow conventional
models rather it should efforts of innovation, presenting of key ideas. Similar concept is
also observed in the process of career development resumes and in building of network.
4. 4
How these tools were developed has also been substantiated with evidence of report,
essay and presentations.
These factors have been probed in detail in the ePortfolio. From the development of
ePortfolio it is expected that there will be development of effective career tools.
Section 1 Efforts undertaken
Individuals who want to sustain in the business environment should understand that there
are various facets that needs to be developed apart from technical knowledge. There
should be integrated knowledge about communication, technical knowledge and effective
presentation. In this course initial task is to conduct SWOT analysis of individuals. This
is a kind of retrospective analysis that helps the individuals to understand their area of
weakness and improve them. In this segment it helps the people gain awareness about
them and the various processes involved. Apart from this the module is expected to help a
person develop skills in writing, speech and presentation. At the end of the module there
is also career advice that is given to individuals in order to develop career skills.
The process of writing individual essay and by writing business report the various factors
involved in writing can be understood. There will be insights gained about the process of
critical analysis in this module. For critically analyzing information there is a need to
read large volumes of data and determine the importance relevant facts from each of the
data source (Schmeck, 2013). For critical analysis there should not be bias and the data
needs to be presented neutrally this aspect is integral for sustenance in the corporate
world (Russell, 1991). This process can be understood by actually writing the business
essay. There is difference between business reports and essay this will be understood
from this process. Business presentation needs to be effective and there should be proper
5. 5
communication models that should be developed for the business presentation in orders
for this a lot of practice is needed (Brown, 2002.). It is very important to ensure that there
is no plagiarism. There should be due importance given not plagiarizing. There are a
number of factors that are considered to be plagiarizing. There should be more analysis
done by the writer in order to determine how to ensure that the content is not plagiarized.
It is expected that in order to understand about business reading, writing, and presentation
(Leong, 2014). It will also help further career development there should be a lot of
readings and efforts undertaken. These efforts should not be limited to any one facet. It
should be about reading various literatures, analyzing the source of information, forming
opinions from the information gathered. Subsequent to this there should be more analysis
and energy put into developing innovative practices. To conclude there will be a lot of
efforts in acquiring the tools to critically analyze and develop various facets of these
International business relations.

Section 7 Brainstorming and collecting information
7.1
To write a suitable scholastic essay there needs to be a plan prior to writing the essay. It
is important to have relevant information pertaining to the research topic. The
information that is collected should give complete view of the topic (Redman & Maples,
2011). To write a proper academic essay there needs to be some groundwork that should
be done. Initially there should be collecting large number of information. Once the
information is collected they should be checked if the information that is presented is
6. 6
authentic (Miyazoe et al., 2014). The writer should have ensured that the information is
not biased. From this further note taking and construction of the essay must be done. This
process was followed for writing of this essay. The brainstorming process is explained in
detail in the following.
Collection of relevant information is the first step in writing an essay. Once the topic is
decided there should be relevant keyword search needs to be using internal and external
medium (Harris et al., 2012). There are a number of internal sources that are provided by
the University library. Apart from this Google scholar can be used to collect information
about published works that are reviewed.
In order to understand in detail about the academic essay writing process, an essay about
Smart phone technology and global markets was written. Prior to selecting a topic
research about business and technological development was done prior to the actual
selection of topic. In this process a number of new insights and perceptions were gained.
It was not possible to retain all information. Skimming was done in order to understand
the topic (Crossley et al., 2014). If it was considered to be relevant, then the information
was carefully read. From the information that was read, pertinent information was noted
down. From this there was information collected Topic was selected with tutor
interaction. The topic about smart phone technology and global competition was selected
from analysis of various topics.
After selection of topic the next phase that needs to be done is research and collection of
data pertaining to the topic. It was understood there need to be selection of text that is
pertinent to the current text and also academic. Hence using Library resources and
Google scholar search information was collected. Academic text is defined as the text
7. 7
that has a formalized language, proper referencing and does not include any personal bias
(De Man, 2013). There should be clarity and the author should justify the information
presented. Writer should not make claims that cannot be substantiated.
When choosing an academic text it was ensured that the text had proper vocabulary,
appropriate referencing and objective language while presenting information.
In this process information that was collected was from textbooks, websites, journals and
articles. A number of related searches were undertaken in Google using Keyword search.
While looking at an academic text it is important to skim the content. If it has relevant
pertinent information careful recording of the information should be done. It was ensured
that in the essay writing process this procedure of collecting and assessing information
was done. After collection of a large volume of information it was ensured that all
viewpoints regarding each topic was presented in the essay.
7.2 (Student essay that was submitted prior to the ePortfolio needs to be attached as
evidence)
Section 8 Sourcing of information.
8.1
For the actual writing process important information that was noted prior to writing the
essay must be included. It should be paraphrased and used to support arguments. From
paraphrasing and noting down the central ideas a key argument was developed in the
essay. It is important for writers to have a certain assertion or argument that should be
8. 8
critically analyzed by considering both sides of the viewpoint. From the different ideas,
assertion made initially should be considered critically (Collis & Hussey, 2013). It is
important to develop a central theme from the ideas presented in the essay. While
paraphrasing information collated from the writer must recognize the different sources.
It is very important to source and cite information collected from different sources. It
gives the original writer their due recognition. It also involves accountability of the
information. Any assertive claim that is made while writing essay can be backed by
relevant facts. It is used to give support to the claims written in essay or academic
journals. Referencing basically provides the reader with four claims. They provide the
readers with published facts, dates and also details pertaining to the information gathered.
These factors give credibility to the information that is obtained from the different
sources (Pennycook, 1996.). This information was the key factors from which the writer
makes a claim about events. These sourcing of information can be qualitative or
descriptive data. There are many kinds and varieties of academic referencing system.
They are journals, articles, books, reliable websites, governmental reports and reports
published by credible sources.
In text citation is also an important aspect that needs to be considered when referencing
sources. It is imperative in the Harvard style or APA referencing to include last name of
the author followed by the year of publications. In text citation are provided whenever
information is collected from a particular source. This citation must be provided
whenever direct quotes, ideas of another person or paraphrasing of information is done.
In text citation gives the reader idea where the information was sourced and also gives
insights about type of research conducted by the original writer.
9. 9
For the essay there was varied references used from Journals, Websites and Books. In
text citation was provided whenever information was used from the references. The
completed essay was about how smart phone technology operates in the current dynamic
markets. For this process statistical data and information about the latest developments in
the field of mobile technology was analyzed in great detail.
From the actual writing process the importance and the relevance of academic sources
was understood. It is agreed from this essay writing process that there should be more
careful in text citation. More focus should be given to developing in text citations that
are appropriate. A central theme of smart phone technology was discussed in detail in this
essay for which there should have been more in text citations. From this process a new
tool was developed. It helped develop skills on how to present information and strengthen
argumentative viewpoints. On speculating and retrospection it is understood that
collection of proper information, referencing and in text citation are integral factors for
the development of a respectable essay.

Section 9 Plagiarism
9.1 About PLATO Test
Plagiarism is a concept where the ideas of a person are basically delivered like it is the
ideas of another person. Plagiarism is a deliberate attempt of trying to steal someone
10. 10
else’s ideas for rewards and recognition (Szondi, & Martindale, 2004,). It is considered to
be intellectual theft. It is considered to be wrongful interpretation of the original sourcing.
There are many areas in which plagiarism is seen. It is seen in many researches, in
creation of new products and also academic. Students knowingly or unknowingly indulge
in plagiarism. Common forms in which students plagiarize content are as follows.
Sometimes students pass of direct quotes summary in their own essay without proper in
text citations and reference. Some students deliberately try to pass of another person’s
work as the work done by them. In some cases students repeat content from their
previous work. Even in those situations it is considered to be plagiarism. Sometimes
students forget to cite some sources when using multiple sources of information. They
cite a few and forget to cite some other sources of information. There should be proper
format for the citations. In some cases students try to use multiple sources of information
and do not have an argument or assertion of their own. This is also a form of plagiarism
even though all sources are referenced accurately. It is important for the students to
develop a central argument from the information. There should be clear objective or
claim that must be critically analyzed. This process of avoiding plagiarism needs to be
developed by the students individually by indulging in a number of writing practices.
From this it is understood that plagiarism exists in different forms. Some of the aspects of
plagiarism can occur by lack of knowledge. Nevertheless they should be corrected.
Students should ensure that diligent process is undertaken in order to avoid any
conceptions of plagiarism.
Students sometimes do not have proper awareness of the protocols that should be
followed in order to avoid plagiarism. University of Derby has developed some standard
11. 11
protocols in order to avoid plagiarism by the students. The tools developed by the
University are known as PLATO. PLATO stands for PLAgiarism Test Online (Szondi, &
Martindale, 2004,).. It is basically a set of standard codes and instructions that are
provided in order for the students to avoid any conception of plagiarism.
From reading about plagiarism it is quite clear that intellectual theft is similar to stealing.
There are many sources of data and information that is available in the current times and
efforts must be taken to properly cite them. From using this PLATO tool it is understood
that the when using information from sources there should be relevant reference and in
text citation. It should be ensured that the process does not have any misconceptions of
plagiarism. A central assertion must be made while writing an essay and sources should
be used to strengthen the assertion. When citing multiple sources it should be ensured
that all sources must be properly cited. To conclude the importance of not plagiarizing
and avoiding all forms of plagiarism was understood from this exercise.
9.2 (Plato Test results of Student)
Section 10 Principles of Academic writing
10.1
Academic writing is about thinking and analyzing of information presented from sources.
It is important for the writer to look into the various facets of the information in order to
avoid any bias (Andreescu, 2013.). The writer makes a central assertion. From this the
writer looks into the various sides of the arguments. Critical analysis of the text should be
done in this process. It should be ensured that there are both views presented for a claim.
An argument is made in the essay in order to understand the implications of each
12. 12
viewpoint. This is essential to avoid any conceptions of bias (Richards, 2014.). When a
viewpoint is considered biased it looses credibility. People do not give importance to a
biased one-sided view of an argument. There should be other factors considered in order
for the essay to be precise and accurate. From this typically the essay concludes with
analysis of the initial argument proposed by the writer.
In order to essay a good argumentative claim it is important to have a strong research
methodology (Richards, 2014.. Descriptive or qualitative data that is used depends on the
type of argument or claim made by the author. Primary and secondary sources are used in
order to support a particular viewpoint. Paraphrasing, quotations and summary are the
three forms in which information is used (Richards, 2014.).
In the process of Quotations, direct quotes made by another person are presented in the
essay (Luke & Kearins, 2012.). In this process at the end of the quote due in text citation
must be given. It is not possible to quote paragraphs of information from multiple sources
in the case of academic writing for this purpose paraphrasing’s and summary are used.
Usually in order to express the different viewpoints the concepts of paraphrasing need to
be followed. Direct quotes are not allowed in all situations and hence there is a need to
paraphrase content. In this situation paraphrasing is done essentially by changing the
synonyms of the words or by changing word form or by changing the voice of the
sentence. There are some changes in the voice; tone and connective words are used for
this process. Paraphrasing of information takes place in many forms (Weigle, 2013).
Summarizing refers to creation of abstract of the main viewpoints of another author. In
summarizing concept there is a lot of emphasis that is given to the overall viewpoint
presented by the author. In summarizing the author essentially writes down the main
13. 13
points of another author (Reid, 2012). In both summary and paraphrase it should be
ensured that there is no plagiarism that takes place. It should ensure that in both the
process of academic writing the original author must be given due considerations.
Harvard system is one of the standardized systems that are used for referencing.
From this process of academic writing it was understood that information obtained from
different sources should be clearly presented. Summary, Paraphrase and Quotes should
be used for this process of referencing. It should be presented in order to support an
argument. Paraphrasing or summary is most commonly used to strengthen the arguments.
Direct quotes should be used only in cases when it is deemed very important. Lengthy
direct quotes should be avoided instead paraphrasing or summarizing should be followed.
This process was followed during the essay and report writing process. From the actual
writing of essay the nuances involved in the process was understood. This process had
enabled the writer to understand about the ways in which information from different
academic sources can be presented.
10.2 (Student essay or group essay upload)
Section 11 Referencing system
11.1
Different sources of references are journals, newspaper articles, books, reports etc. There
are numerous academic sources while using those sources it is important to have a
uniform system of referencing in order to present the sources clearly and uniformly.
Referencing system is an organized system that is used to clearly explain the in text
citations and reference (Lampert, 2014. ). Information is obtained from different credible
14. 14
sources foo the purpose of academic essay. There are a number of factors that needs to be
factored in while establishing proper referencing system. There are clear mandates in the
referencing system for each kind of source. There is a need for uniform resources to
present the data clearly and legibly. For this a number of standardized referencing
systems are followed. They are Harvard system, APA system, Chicago style of
referencing, MLA referencing, AGLC law citations etc (Shashikiran, 2014). These
uniform systems are developed for the people to understand the sources of data used for
the particular work.
One of the most popular referencing systems is the Harvard referencing system. It is used
predominately by many universities around the world. This is considered to be one of the
uniform systems of referencing information (Hanington, & Martin 2012). Harvard
referencing uses the author, data style of in text citation. There is a definitive formula as
to how each source of data must be represented. Some similar protocols are seen for
different sources.
Author or the researchers last name comes first followed by the year of publication. In the
case of book source title, edition number, place of publication and name of publisher is
presented in the reference. In the case of Journal apart from the name and year of
publication, title of the journal, name of journal, volume, issue and page reference is
mentioned. In the case of websites similarly after the name and year, title of webpage,
web address and the date of access are mentioned in the reference. For the case of
newspaper reference similar to the other sources apart from name and year of publication,
title of the article, newspaper, exact data and page number is provided. These are some of
the most commonly used sources of information that is presented in the reference style.
15. 15
Apart from this the sources of information that is used can be reports, specific chapters in
a books even video reference can be used as a credible sources of information (Bozeman,
& Melkers, J2013.).
From the task activities the intricate detail involved in the referencing process was
understood. Harvard system of referencing was understood to give importance to the
name of the author and the year of publication. This had enabled the students to
understand how Harvard referencing system works. From this there can be usage of
proper credible sources apart from this it also gives insights as to how to classify
resources presented by others.
11.2
(Attach or upload the results of the referencing task done by the student)
Section 12 Critical Analyses
Critical thinking and analysis is important for the construction of essays and report. In the
process of critical thinking the author should effectively explain the different aspects of
the arguments. Critical analysis is a process of reflection of critical thinking. It allows the
researcher to state hypothesis and bolster the argument made (Wideen Mayer-Smith,. and
Moon, 1998). As discussed earlier it is important for the researcher to factor in all sides
of the argument. There are definitive methods that can be followed in order to conduct
critical analysis. This can be understood in depth by actual writing process.
From the construction of the individual essay it was found that the actual critical process
of writing the essay some barriers exist. There is tendency to be swayed by the arguments
made by a certain author (BoveÃ, Thill, & Schatzman,2003). There is a need to remove
16. 16
emotional affective content. It was found to be difficult to remove emotions from the
process and present data neutrally. There are a number of actual implementation issues.
Sometimes personal bias does get in the way of presenting the critical angles of the essay.
For critical analysis both sides of a viewpoint needs to be considered. If there is only one
assertion made and all the sources are used to back the particular claim it will be
considered biased (Langan, 2013. ). There should be alternative arguments in order to
present the data in a clear and lucid fashion. This will enable the readers to understand
the factors that the researcher has included while making a certain claim. From presenting
both sides of the arguments and stating real facts the researcher can add credibility to the
essay or report. Non- argument claims are simply facts that do not support any assertion.
They are the actual implications of particular events (Cottrell, 2011). From these non-
argumentative, neutral facts assertions and viewpoints are developed.
On speculating about the various facts involved in the process it has been found that the
issues of clarity should be maintained. In some cases of essays and report many
information gets muddled and there is overall confusion in presenting the data. This can
cause issues to the reader. This will make the whole work not readable (Kolour, and
Yaghoubi, 2015). There should be clarity of thought and reasoning by the researcher for
the researcher to write clearly. It should be ensured that there are clear strategies of
development of the essay prior to actually writing the essay. There should be an outline
developed from which the essay should be constructed based on the differing views, facts
and assertions. From this if the researcher draws certain claims it will considered to be
clear and relevant.
17. 17
12.2 (Attach student essay, individual report to show critical analysis done by
student during the course)
Section 13 Business report: Case study of McDonald
From analyses of the business report it has been found that a report style of presentation
needs to have some basic structure. Reports are markedly different from essays. Report
style needs to have a definite executive summary. This summary should cover the key
arguments and summations made by the author (Zikmund et al., 2012). It is different
from abstract. Executive summary discusses about the results, method of analysis,
research methodology employed and recommendation proposed by the researcher from
analysis. Table of contents clearly discusses in detail about all the elements in the report.
There should be a clear introduction, body and conclusions (Business Design 2012).
Referencing and appendix should follow the report. This is the baseline for any business
report.
McDonald case study has the following structure. Initially there is a strong table of
contents. It has a clear executive summary. The introduction explains about the
background of the research and also allows discusses about the different research
methodology that will be used for the report writing. Key factors that have been
considered and it also provides with some insights about the assertions made by the
author. Wider context of the issue has been probed. It is about the football partnership
and grass root movement co ordinated by McDonalds. Funnel based approach is used to
develop content. From the wider context specifics of football grass root movement
organized by McDonalds is explained in detail in this analysis. From this analysis the
potential areas of growth and productivity are identified. Subsequent to this the author
18. 18
has developed recommendations for their work. These recommendations are then
proposed for specific growth of the McDonald future.
From analysis of the business report structure it has been found that business report are
even more specific. It does not factor in many ideologies and opinions. It consists of data
and information. Assertions and claims are formed from the data that is obtained.
Research methodology used for each report is very important. Initially the researcher
must define the key variables and develop research based on the information. Analysis
must be made if the data should be descriptive or quantitative. Executive summary and
abstract are very different concepts this was understood from reading about business
report. Abstract is only information and key discussions made by the author. Executive
summary on the other hand discusses the key issues, research methodology and also
proposes specific solutions. Essay and business report are markedly different in their way
of presentations. The essential difference between the two has been understood from this
analysis of McDonald Business report and from writing essay. This process has enabled
the writer to understand the intrinsic difference between the two.
13.2 (Attach student business report based on McDonald Business report)
Section 14 Business presentation
A key integral aspect that needs to be considered in real life business scenarios is
business presentation. Unlike essay and reports this involves presenting information in
real time. The facet that needs to be covered in this process is the aspect of times apart
from content. While presenting information as a group there should be proper content,
individual reflections and also proper format of presentation (Trafton et al 2003). While
presenting information there should be clear tangible goals. These goals must be specific.
19. 19
Assertions and claims made by the group members should coincide and bolter the
argument. Group dynamics and individual dynamics are important in this scenario.
For official business presentation there should be importance given to the effective
communication (MacRae, 2015). There should be clear articulation of the facts and
information that should be presented to the audience. In this model there should be
individual viewpoints along with the presentation of the groups. While presentation it has
been found that conventional models of presentation involves using PowerPoint and
presenting data. This is a conventional model that is considered to be cliché. There are a
number of conventional tools that are used in this model like graphs, statistical data that
are deemed not relevant (Hair et al., 2015). This presentation module will have no effect
on the audience. Presentation of information and business meetings should have a clear
beginning, discussions and conclusion. It should be innovative and not follow
conventional business practices. While presenting information it is important to look
beyond the basics conventional methods of presentation of facts. Older versions of using
only PowerPoint for presentation are a tried method that has little impact on the modern
audience. It is recommended that there are multiple tools and mediums used for
communication purposes. It is also important to engage the audience and keep them
interested in the process of presenting information to the audience. It is important to
understand to work as a group while having individual assertions. There should be
amicability and coordinated efforts that should take place in order to present data
effectively. Effectively working as a group and presenting information is a art that can be
developed only with practice and research.
20. 20
From this analysis it is understood that presentation of data needs to be done by using a
variety of tools. The information should not be dumped on the audience. There should be
clear goals and clarity. Key ideas and information should be presented to the audience in
order to engage the audience. Initially while creation of the presentation the key goals
should be defined prior to creation of the presentation. These key ideas that are strategic
should be presented to the audience. There should not be a lot of text for the audience to
read. It should provide as teaching aids to the speaker. There should be a lot of thought,
innovative ideas and practice that should be undertaken prior to the presentation of
information. It should not be limited to merely stating facts and statistics. To conclude
about presentation people get bored during clichéd conventional presentation models.
There is a need to factor in other intangible and use more energy in creations of effective
presentation. Presentation is a tool that can stimulate people to think and analyze about
the facts and figures.
14.2

Section 15
15.1 Effective resume
A regular resume or CV should have key achievements of the candidate. It should be
relevant to the job that is pursued by candidates. It should not be limited or be too broad.
In some ineffective CV it has been observed that the candidates include a lot of
information about their achievements. It is also important to maintain the true potential of
the candidate in the resume. By face value it will seem appropriate and even smart to
21. 21
make tall claims. But in reality it will become very difficult and cause credibility issues to
the candidates (Turpin, Fitzgerald & Rodger 2011.). Hence it is recommended that only
real value and potential of the candidates be mentioned in the CV. Developing an
effective resume is an important process that hold relevance from traditional times to the
current times. This effective presentation of resume is mandatory in order to survive in
the corporate world (Turpin, Fitzgerald & Rodger 2011.). Networking and getting
noticed by the concerned people are mandatory in order to sustain (Krieshok et al., 2000).
This networking has become enhanced by the usage of new digital social media tools
such as linked in. In the recent times there has been rising influence of using Linked in, to
find the right jobs.
Networking and forming business associations with the concerned people are imperative
for the process of creating Linked in is a social media business tools that is used for
building of profile. It is also used as a job portal to advertise about vacancies and to find
suitable candidates. It allows people in the relevant field to connect and develop a strong
network. There are a number of facets that helps a person grow professionally from the
Linked In services (Pauls, 2015.). Unlike other social media tools the primary objective
of Linked in is to develop professional networks of people. It can be used to understand
how the current business dynamics work in real times. There are also a number of groups
that are in existence (Crant, 2015. They discuss in detail about the issues in the actual
working environment. Apart from this they provide solutions as to how to deal with
similar work dilemma. From analyzing other linked in profile insights can be gained as to
how to present information.
22. 22
From this topic of resume and career development it can be understood that in creation of
CV there should be mention of key facts (Turpin, Fitzgerald & Rodger 2011.). It should
have the relevant facts that are associated with the job that the candidate requires. An
effective CV or resume should not be about dumping all the achievement of candidates
(Arthur & Rousseau, 2001). Rather it should be about some key facts that are used for the
development of a person’s career. To develop career pathway it is imperatives to have an
effective CV, communicate with peers, develop strong networks. Linked in can be used
as an effective career development tools. There are a number of facets that Linked in
helps people in developing career. They help in forming networks, aid in development of
career pathway and also helps undecided people to develop insights about each career
path. It has a number of peer groups that are essentially in the same career level to
understand about the issues facing each jobs and potential opportunities. It also functions
as an effective job portal. Using a combination of an effective CV and using the various
tools discussed in Linked in a person can become better qualified and adept in dealing
with real life work situations. This will be especially helpful for the students who are yet
to develop their career.

Section 16 Retrospection
ePortfolio was a very significant process. It helped gain insights about how to effectively
present written and spoken information. There were discussions about how career
development of a person can be facilitated with the process of ePortfolio. By presenting
information according to format streamlined thinking process and how to apply
innovation in each of these of written and oral processes was understood. Business
23. 23
reports will be clearly presented with the executive summary, table of contents,
introduction, discussions and conclusions. Even though there was understanding of the
concept of plagiarism the very intricate details involved in the actual concepts of
plagiarism was understood form this process. This analysis of the ePortfolio has also
aided in understanding the depth of research that needs has been developed over the
course. The importance of innovation, presentation of facts and the intricate details
involving networking and communication was understood from this ePortfolio work.
Specifically from writing of CV and in presentation one important factor was mentioned.
It is explaining how to develop content based on objectives. The writer did previously not
consider this aspect. This holds a lot of relevance. Owing to increasing competition in the
markets it is important to strategically develop goals and present information.
In future it will be ensured that whenever there is business content that needs to be
developed. There will be key objectives that will be defined prior to the inception of the
project. From this the content will be developed. There will always be a central assertion
or claim that will be supported by facts. These claims will be substantiated with proper
reference. There will be a homogenous presentation style that will be developed while
presenting arguments.
To conclude based on personal insights this process had made me a better equipped to
deal with real life business situation.
