This document discusses using data to support collective impact initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for children from cradle to career. It provides examples of how collaborative groups in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky have used data to measure progress and drive action to increase kindergarten readiness, reading proficiency, math proficiency, high school graduation rates and college completion rates. The document also outlines lessons learned from collective impact work, including the importance of building community ownership, starting with available data, and narrowing the scope of initiatives to make them manageable.
