The document describes an enhancement to Creo's GD&T Advisor tool. The enhancement allows GD&T Advisor to reuse annotations created outside the application, identifies existing annotations, and notifies users about corrective actions needed. It will be controlled by a new Plus license that existing customers will receive automatically to access the new annotation reuse capabilities.

– GD&T Advisor (Creo 4.0 F000 through M030) does not allow annotations created outside of the
application (in base Creo) to be reused in the application
• User is notified of any such annotations and prompted to delete them to start GD&T Advisor session with a
"clean" model
• If not deleted, they will not be used within GD&T Advisor

• Enhancement in Creo 4.0 M040:
– GD&T Advisor has been enhanced to reuse existing annotations created in standard Creo
• GD&T Advisor will identify existing annotations, construct the required functional features, and notify the user
about corrective actions that might be needed to properly validate the model annotations

• This capability will be controlled by a new Plus license
– Will include the current license option (Basic) and the license option to control annotation reuse
