TABLETS IN
THE
CLASSROOM
?
We live in a world where
technology is becoming
increasingly important. We are not
preparing our students for today,
we are preparing them for
tomorrow. Therefore, technology
will be an important part of
everything they do.
AN APP FOR
TEACHING:
EDMODO
It is essential to think about a consistent
form of how students and teachers share
and communicate with the tablets which is
why it is important to have the right kind of
virtual learning environment in place at an
early stage.
Edmodo, a free virtual learning environment
that's excellent for communicating and
sharing resources with students and
supporting collaboration in across the
school.
CONTENT
CREATION
WITH
TABLETS
ebook, a short video clip, a
digital postcard, a blog, an
animation, a comic strip, a
presentation, an audio
recording, etc.
One of the key elements of an
effective content creation project
in your class is to have students
develop a piece of content that has
relevancy and meaning beyond
the purposes of the classroom
activity. For example, students
could produce videos or online
content for a local charity camp.
