This deck makes a case for making the creation and maintenance of such documents a shared activity, not the sole responsibility of a single team member. It also includes ideas that you can use to streamline your documentation projects and tasks.

According to the DCMM (Digital Preservation Capability Maturity Model ©) newsletter in January 2016, “There are positive signs that digital preservation is finally entering the mainstream of professional practice and information technology infrastructure.”
The accelerating impact of change on long-term preservation might contradict the optimisms that we are coming closer to bridging the digital preservation capability gap between the problem owners and the solution providers. A lot of cutting-edge technology and research has been done out there over the past decade to support preservation, but who is ready to take on the risk of being an early adopter of cutting-edge solutions? When it seems many organisations are still struggling to understand what they need to be doing and what fits their context and purposes.
So what does it take to close that chasm? What type of collaborations are needed? Are we ready to build that bridge?

The five stages of the methodology are to capture, clarify, organize, reflect, and engage. This allows individuals to define what is "done" and "doing" and manage commitments through various lists and reminders in a trusted system outside of one's mind. The methodology promotes clarity, focus on important tasks, and freedom from stress.

Business leaders everywhere are looking to data to inform their decision making. Accompanying this demand are misunderstandings of what it takes to transform data into something that can inform a decision. What is the data infrastructure required? In this talk, I'll dispel some of these misunderstandings and discuss what it takes to build good data infrastructure. I'll discuss the components of a good data infrastructure. The best practices and available tools for gathering data, processing it, storing it, analyzing it and communicating the results. The goal is for these components to create a data infrastructure which can evolve from simple reporting to sophisticated insights for decision making.

There are few CI/CD pipelines and model health monitoring is scarce. A lot that could be automated is still manual. And teams are siloed. This causes problems both for productivity: it's hard to collaborate, and reproducibility: which impacts on governance and compliance.

Artificial Intelligence for XMLDevelopment
In the rapidly evolving landscape of technologies, XML continues to play a vital role in structuring, storing, and transporting data across diverse systems. The recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) present new methodologies for enhancing XML development workflows, introducing efficiency, automation, and intelligent capabilities. This presentation will outline the scope and perspective of utilizing AI in XML development. The potential benefits and the possible pitfalls will be highlighted, providing a balanced view of the subject.
We will explore the capabilities of AI in understanding XML markup languages and autonomously creating structured XML content. Additionally, we will examine the capacity of AI to enrich plain text with appropriate XML markup. Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.
