Tools Needed Card stock paper, or sturdy paper that doesn't easily bend A Ruler A Compass Scissors Tape
Step 1 First measure a rectangle that is 11 cm by 10.7 cm Then divide the 11 cm into sections of 3, 5, and 3 cm Then divide the 10.7 cm into sections of 3, 3, and 4.7 cm This makes a grid Use the compass to make a quarter circle on the top two side squares.
Step 2 Crease all of the lines Fold both directions Can use an object such as a glass or a tin to help make the creases smoother and more evident
Step 3 Once all eight pieces are creased begin to tape them together Each individual piece will form a wedge shape Tape the side and top and bottom Use as much tape as it takes for the paper to hold the wedged shape
Step 4 Place all pieces to that they form two cylinders side by side Each cylinder is made from four pieces
Step 4 Cont. Tape together wedges that are side by side Tape the top part then move and tape the under part This creates half circles By the end there should be four half circles
Step 6 Where the two cylinders connect tape both sides Flip cylinders over carefully
Step 7 Tape the two bottom outer wedges together so that they are taped perpendicular to what the top wedges are Check all tape and make sure it is nice and secure
