Mr. Martensen welcomes students back to CP Chemistry class at Zion Benton High School. He hopes students will have fun while also being challenged. Students' grades will be calculated based on tests and quizzes (35%), labs (30%), and homework (35%). It is essential that students have a scientific calculator and know how to use it. The teacher maintains a website to keep students updated on schedules, notes, and videos. Students should not fall behind as each unit builds on the last. The classroom and lab rules prohibit food, drink, cell phones, and cluttered desks.
