Dear Mr. Cooke:

Please accept this letter for the position posted on the YIS website. My interest in working for
YIS is based on the schools highly regarded reputation and my desire to work with your team of
dedicated professionals. In addition, I am confident that my qualifications and experience make
me a suitable candidate for a teaching position.

I posses over nine years of teaching experience, working at an educational institution, where I
was required to design and update curriculum, plan instructional methods of teaching, prepare
reports and co-ordinate extracurricular activities such as cultural and sports events. I am
currently studying Early Childhood Education at Centennial College in Toronto, Canada. I will
be completing this program in April 2013. Through this program, I have learned the rules and
regulations, developmental domains of children, child development, positive guidance strategies,
child abuse prevention, healthy development of children, special needs and inclusion, curriculum
design and planning, etc. Furthermore, years of work experience in the field of education has
given me a lot of confidence to work under-pressure and to meet strict deadlines. I have also
successfully completed three field practicums with various organizations in Toronto and this
experience has given me the knowledge, and the ability to succeed in any given environment.

In addition, I am comfortable working independently as well as in a group environment. I am an
organized person, and have an optimistic attitude, which helps me interact effectively with
children, parents and staff. My qualifications and work experience will help me to contribute
substantially to the progress and continued success of Yanbu International School.

I am also familiar with the standards and culture at Yanbu International School. My son is a YIS
alumni and he graduated in 2009. I am familiar with the working and highly professional culture
at the school. I am familiar with the history and the role of the institution and its importance to
the city of Yanbu and the community.

My resume is enclosed for your review. I welcome the opportunity to discuss with you how my
skills and strengths can best serve your school. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank
