As you will note from my resume, I am doing my final placement in Woodhaven YMCA from
Centennial College. My previous placements and work experience has exposed me to various
aspects of taking care of young children, planning age appropriate activities, serving food,
effectively guiding children. I have developed strong skills in creating fun and interactive
learning activities and materials, and developing solid relationship with children, families and
staff. I am fully qualified and I also hold a current first aid certificate qualified. Additionally, I
lived in this area where is convenient for me.
I understand that Woodhaven YMCA is growing rapidly child care centre in the area and I
believe my experience in this area would make a great contribution to your centre. I am
enthusiastic and sensitive to children's individual needs. I believe that every child is unique and
all children should have equal opportunities to access to high quality and care.
