1. Jaime Finkbeiner
Mrs.
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am enthusiastic about searching for a preschool teaching position in your area! My family and I will be
making a major lifestyle change by December of 2015; we will be transitioning from Active duty military life to
the civilian sector, and I would love to share the knowledge I have gained from Fresno Pacific University to your
preschool or childcare setting. I possess the necessary skills required to safely and proficiently lead young
children in their day to day activities; I am also organized, self-driven, and energetic.
Becoming a preschool teacher for your center is a magnificent way for me to combine my background in early
childhood education and exceptional skills in teaching.
As you can note from my resume, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in early childhood development from Fresno
Pacific University; I was able to learn about child care strategies and teaching preschool children about the
world. I have the potential to become a key member of your teaching staff by utilizing my strengths;
Demonstrated the ability to work with children in groups or individually depending on the requirements
of children and the subject matter
Able to organize activities so children can learn in relation to the world, explore interests, and build up
talents
Highly skilled in planning and carrying out a set of courses that targets diverse areas of child
development, including language, math, and social skills
Proven ability to work with children from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
I would be more than happy to arrange a time in which I could travel to Cedar City from Lemoore, California to
meet with you in person. If you need any additional information or have any questions, please call me at (505)
320-7914, or email me at jlf12@fpu.edu.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Jaime Finkbeiner
