Re: Early Childhood Educator needed
Dear Hiring Committee,
Please accept the enclosed resume for the Early Childhood Educator position as advertised in The
Toronto Star, on March 22, 2013. My education and work experiences have built the strong base of my
ability of taking challenges and working confidently with children, and have made me an ideal candidate
for the position.
I am graduated in the Early Childhood Education Program diploma at Centennial College. My two years
education program provided me practical and theoretical experience of focusing on whole child and
supporting in the developmental needs of children. My placement experiences allowed me to achieve
excellent skills in working with infant, toddler, preschooler and school age children in actual child care
settings. I also have eight years experience in working with preschool and school age children in
Bangladesh.
I have known about your non-profit organization from the websites. I really liked the centre philosophy,
and the other supportive information you have provided on your websites. I am also believed in unique
identity of every child, like your centre philosophy. For addition, I have always planned and demonstrated
various activities for children to increase social, emotional, language and literacy skills, to develop basic
motor and eye-hand co-ordination skills, to enhance self regulation, problem solving and life saving
skills.
I am punctual, responsible, and skilled in working with children. I have tremendous team working,
leaderships, problem solving, and multicultural communicating skills. I believe and respect in cultural
diversity, and I can speak four languages, which is an additional quality for an early childhood educator.
It would be my pleasure to be a part of your agency. I am passionate to get the opportunity to work in an
environment that support children’s total development, and work with multicultural families.
I would very much like to arrange an opportunity for an interview at your convenience and review my
child care portfolio and qualifications. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely yours
Farhnayeasmin
