Dear HR / Recruitment Manager,
I am an experienced Logistics, SCM, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics / 3PL Business
Development professional looking to discuss with you the current requirements your company
has, and how my skills may fulfil those.
Throughout my career spanning 30 years, I provided value-added and lean Logistics, SCM,
Procurement and Warehouse services to complex, multi-billion and landmark O&G projects and
operations for lead companies –essentially SHELL and TOTAL- in various locations (Qatar -
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia – Gabon – Mauritania - Czech Republic – Tunisia).
Self-starter, hands-on, versatile and seasoned Logistics, SCM, Procurement, Warehouse and BD
expert; I have excellent English, French and Arabic; and good technical, commercial, materials,
leadership, organizational, customer relationship, team-building, IT and ERP (SAP) skills.
Safety-focused and result-oriented, I am keen on excellence and possess a great ability to adapt
to harsh conditions, work under pressure with minimum support, in diverse environments and
cultures and . . . get things done.
In 2005, as a Warehouse and Materials Advisor; I developed / wrote a new WMS (Warehouse
Management System) for a lead European refinery (CRC, Czech Republic; operated by
UNIPETROL, SHELL, ENI & CONOCO PHILLIPS consortium).
Earlier, in 1999; I conceived, created, started-up and managed a new 3PL Logistics business for
a private company. Within 2 years, the new unit was well established, grew and expanded fast
and steadily to become a well-recognized, a leader and a model of business success on the scene.
When I left this company after 4 years, it was –still is- the No. 1 Logistics provider in-country.
Besides, I managed C&P / Procurement (PO’s for >$350 million and contracts of >$ 12 billion),
inventories accounting for >11000 items and value >$ 60 million, Logistics Base HSES,
operations, resources, budgets and manpower (Yard and Warehouse facilities: 24000 m², fleet of
>20 trucks, 1 crane, 3 forklifts and a staff of 30 direct reports).
Having achieved many successes throughout my career, including:

- 2009: Achieved cost savings of >USD 1 MM on review of open contracts.
- 2014: ISO 14001 certification of the Logistics Base I was in charge of.

to your company.
If you would like to get in touch to discuss my application and arrange an interview, please feel
