   EXPERIENCE (March 2007 to date in Ernst & Young Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder, Chartered Accountants)
   I am working in the Audit & Assurance Business Services (AABS) / Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services (FIDS) Group of Ernst & Young – Pakistan office
   (Ernst & Young Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder, Chartered Accountants ) in the capacity of Supervisory Senior. I gave my Module F examination in the
   December 2011 attempt. My mandatory training period ended on Nov 11, 2011.
   During my association with Ernst & Young, I was seconded to EY Dubai office till April 15, 2012 and was earlier seconded to the EY Qatar office in Doha
   from January 2010 to April 2010. All my experience pertains to my association with Ernst & Young, details of which are enumerated separately for Pakistan
   office and Foreign office locations.
   My work at E&Y includes planning, execution and conclusion of statutory audit, review and other special nature engagements. My responsibilities as a team
   leader entailed engagement management, client relationship management and decision-making for resolution of critical reportable matters, specifically:
     • Developing overall engagement plans while identifying key risks, and developing procedures to address them effectively;
     • Acting as a “Knowledge Provider” to the team for resolution of complex issues requiring technical research/ special consideration;
     • Ongoing review of work performed to ensure alignment with the overall engagement plan;
     • Ensuring timely completion and submission of key deliverables to the client within stringent deadlines;
     • Engagement planning based on the understanding of the client’s business processes and assessment of business and audit risks, supervision of the
         engagement, review and finalisation, including close liaison with client's management;
     • Coordinating with various professionals such as lawyers, actuaries, independent valuators and information technology experts and decision-making in
         respect of critical reportable matters;
     • Assisting clients in preparation of financial statements in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework including compliance with
         International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local corporate laws and directives of regulatory authorities; and
     • On-the-job training and professional development of staff.
   My collective experience with Ernst & Young has enabled me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environments of diversified
   industries and the accounting / internal control systems implemented at various organizations along with achieving goal congruence in the presence of multi-

   I was temporarily seconded to Business Risk Services department within Ernst & Young, Karachi Office where i was involved in the Internal audit of the

   Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services (FIDS)
   I have experience in financial investigations relating to a pharmaceutical company and oil exploration company based on allegations of mismanagement and
   fraud relating to their operations.

   FOREIGN EXPERIENCE –
   During the foreign exposure, my responsibilities included verification and documentation of various components of the financial statements to be furnished to
   the local authorities in Dubai as required by local law, conducting meetings with the client management, meeting stringent deadlines, resolving critical issues
   identified during the course of the audit and conducting internal de-brief meetings with engagement team members as well as managers. The diversified
   nature of business of the client entailed performing in-depth study of client business and best practices before initiating the audit which provided good learning
   opportunities.
