•“counseling is discussion of a problem that
usually has emotional contain with employee in
order to help the employee cope with it better.
•It seek to improve employee mental help”.

•“personal counseling is defined as discussion of
an emotional problem with an employee , with
the general objective of reducing it so that
performance is maintain of level or even
improved upon”.

3.   Over work load

Function of counseling.
1. Advice
• After carefully listening the problem area.
• The counselor apples his knowledge on the
    problem area about individual problem.
2. Clarity of thoughts
• some time the individual doesn’t able to
    express what he really wishes to problem.
3.Confidence building
•When there is no feeling of security , it is not
possible for a person to work with full efforts.

•Confidence building is the prime objective
which builds coverage & strength & also
develops a positive feeling.
4. Release of emotional tension
•When the tension is shared & emotional
problem are shared with someone it gets
released from tension & frustration
5. Orientation
•It involves a change in the employees basic self
though change in basic goals & value .

•It allows individuals in recognizing.
Counseling process
• The base for the growth of any organization is
  the employees.

• The policy makers just outline the dreams but
  the employees are the one who actually
  implement the dream & convert it into reality.
• There are three phase of counseling process.



                    Exploring the
 initiating         problem           Action plan
• 1. initiating
• This is a process of developing mutual
  understanding , openness & acceptance.

• This phase is used to build confidence among
  the employees through the counselor.
• 2. exploring problem
• This is the process of understanding the
  problem & finding the root cause of the
  problem.

• It is also necessary to assess the counselee's
  situation root cause of the problem.
• 3. Action plan
• Understanding the root cause the counselor
  deludes the strategy to improve performance of
  the individual.
• The counselor addresses the key issues &
  prepares the counselor to overcome the phase.
• It is also the prime area to implement the
  decided strategy see that plan works out
  properly.
