Re.: IUIS Subcommittee on B cells and plasma cells
Dear Prof. Ignacio Sanz
As chairman of the IUIS "Nomenclature Committee" it is my duty to provide a written report to
the IUIS Council every year regarding the activities of the subcommittees. The report should
include:
a statement of objectives and major ongoing activities
an outline of committee compositions and plans for turnover
a summary of activities of each of the subcommittees during 2012
activities planned for 2013
Please, send me the report by the end of April.
I am aware of the fact that this is a very short notice, but on receipt of this report, I will be able to
provide to your subcommittee financial support (Euro 1.000,-). So please let me have the name
of the bank and the bank account number (IBAN and BIC code), whereto I can transfer the IUIS
support. I would kindly ask you to use the money to promote the activities of your subcommittee
and to make sure that the support of IUIS is documented visibly, so that I can use this
documentation for my annual report to the IUIS council.
IUIS and Frontiers in Immunology have agreed to publish a series of position papers of the
different Nomenclature Subcommittees. Could you please tell me if your subcommittee is willing
to write such a manuscript, and the approximate time to have this paper ready for publication?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
