2. 1st step draft one
• This is my first step here I have decided that I want a
white background as I can fill it with colourful pictures
later. I have also added three coloured pink boxes
keeping with my theme of green and pink. The boxes
are to go behind my ‘contents’ page heading as this will
be the main writing on the page. I decided to put this is
black however this does not go with my initial colour
scheme. I have added a picture of the front cover of my
magazine as existing pages when I researched had this
on and I like this feature. I have added a page number
for a picture that will be inserted later.

4. 2nd step draft one
• In this step I have added a green box behind
the front cover I have done this to make it
stand out as white on white can look washed
out. I am beginning to added page numbers
with arrows pointing to the different sections
on the cover. I will elaborate on this by adding
a sentence or two on what can be expected in
the sectioned highlighted.

6. 3rd step draft one
• This is my 3rd step and here I have added a lot on
to the magazine including adding a green box
onto the side of the magazine I will at a later
stage put polaroid's here to hold pictures in. I
have also added ‘inside this month’ which I have
used the same text as on the front of the cover
and have used the same colours but making the
middle word different to the outer ones. I have
also started to added page numbers I am am
wondering if they are too big for the page I think I
will resize later.

8. 4th step draft one
• On this page I have changed the ‘contents’ word as I thought it
distracted too much I think it in green looks so much better as it
looks like it ties in with the other colours on the page. I have also
put TM on the top right hand corner this is where I will open up my
Juice logo and have it look like its trademarked I used the TM
shapes to do this . On the right hand side I have used shapes to
create a simple polaroid shape – pictures will go in here later and
descriptions in the white spaces on the bottom. i have began to add
text like the ‘insiders’ which I have changed the font to make it look
like it’s the branded logo of the bands by also adding an R in a circle
I have used the shapes tool to do this. I then added an envelope
with the shapes tool for the email us and I also used the shapes to
make a blue box for the Facebook box. Next to one of the page
numbers I have edited my photo of a music star floating linking with
the words ‘music lifts me’.
9. This is the photo I edited and have put on my contents page its very different and I
think it links with my magazines quirky image and age range . To edit this I used
Photoshop and masks to cut around the background of my models original setting and
added her to a simple park scene. I used the masking tool to do this.
