ABSTRACT: Although a significant amount of literature exists on Morocco's migration policies and their
successes and failures since their implementation in 2014, there is limited research on the integration of subSaharan African children into schools. This paperis part of a Ph.D. research project that aims to fill this gap. It
reports the main findings of a study conducted with migrant children enrolled in two public schools in Rabat,
Morocco, exploring how integration is defined by the children themselves and identifying the obstacles that they
have encountered thus far. The following paper uses an inductive approach and primarily focuses on the
relationships of children with their teachers and peers as a key aspect of integration for students with a migration
background. The study has led to several crucial findings. It emphasizes the significance of speaking Colloquial
Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and being part of a community for effective integration. Moreover, it reveals that the
use of Modern Standard Arabic as the language of instruction in schools is a source of frustration for students,
indicating the need for language policy reform. The study underlines the importanceof considering the
children‟s agency when being integrated into mainstream public schools.

Exploring Factors Affecting the Success of TVET-Industry Partnership: A Case ...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to explore factors affecting the success of TVET-industry
partnerships. A case study design of the qualitative research method was used to achieve this objective. For the
study, one polytechnic college of Oromia regional state, and two industries were purposively selected. From the
sample polytechnic college and industries, a total of 17 sample respondents were selected. Out of 17
respondents, 10 respondents were selected using the snowball sampling method, and the rest 7 respondents were
selected using the purposive sampling technique. The qualitative data were collected through an in-depth
interview and document analysis. The data were analyzed using thematic approaches. The findings revealed that
TVET-industry partnerships were found weak. Lack of key stakeholder‟s awareness shortage of improved
training equipment and machines in polytechnic colleges, absence of trainee health insurance policy, lack of
incentive mechanisms for private industries, lack of employer industries involvement in designing and
developing occupational standards, and preparation of curriculum were some of the impediments of TVETindustry partnership. Based on the findings it was recommended that the Oromia TVET bureau in collaboration
with other relevant concerned regional authorities and TVET colleges, set new strategies for creating strong
awareness for industries, companies, and other relevant stakeholders on the purpose and advantages of
implementing successful TVET-industry partnership. Finally, the Oromia regional government in collaboration
with the TVET bureau needs to create policy-supported incentive strategies such as giving occasional privileges
of duty-free import, tax reduction, and regional government recognition awards based on the level of partnership
contribution to TVET institutions in promoting TVET-industry partnership.

The Challenges of Good Governance and Project Implementation in Nigeria: A Re...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT : This study reveals that systemic corruption and other factors including poor leadership,
leadership recruitment processes, ethnic and regional politics, tribalism and mediocrity, poor planning, and
variation of project design have been the causative factors that undermine projects implementation in postindependence African states, particularly in Nigeria. The study, thus, argued that successive governments of
African states, using Nigeria as a case study, have been deeply engrossed in this obnoxious practice that has
undermined infrastructure sector development as well as enthroned impoverishment and mass poverty in these
African countries. This study, therefore, is posed to examine the similarities in causative factors, effects and
consequences of corruption and how it affects governance, projects implementation and national growth. To
achieve this, the study adopted historical research design which is qualitative and explorative in nature. The
study among others suggests that the governments of developing countries should shun corruption and other
forms of obnoxious practices in order to operate effective and efficient systems that promote good governance
and ensure there is adequate projects implementation which are the attributes of a responsible government and
good leadership. Policy makers should also prioritize policy objectives and competence to ensure that policies
are fully implemented within stipulated time frame.

Non-Financial Information and Firm Risk Non-Financial Information and Firm RiskAJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: This research aims to examine how ESG disclosure and risk disclosure affect the total risk of
companies. Using cross section data from 355 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, data regarding
ESG disclosure and risk was collected. In this research, ESG and risk disclosures are measured based on content
analysis using GRI 4 guidelines for ESG disclosures and COSO ERM for risk disclosures. Using multiple
regression, it is concluded that only risk disclosure can reduce the company's total risk, while ESG disclosure
cannot affect the company's total risk. This shows that only risk disclosure is relevant in determining a
company's total risk.

2. The MASTHEAD “BUMP” is a upper case font, which is a
serif font which is a traditional font for a magazine. The
bold white colour of the masthead contrasts with the
pink and blue as they all contrast together which stands
out on the front cover. The rest of the fonts are
uppercase as it is the house style of the magazine as the
fonts are all in uppercase this shows that the magazine is
targeted at young adults as it isn’t seen as formal.
SUPERIMPOSTION is shown here by the masthead
overlapping the picture of the model slightly . The
colours stand out as the background is bright blue and
the writing is black, white and pink.
The target audience for this magazine would be for
17+ year olds, it shows that it is by the colours used
and the content given to us about what will be
inside the magazine.
The main image on the front cover is a
sophisticated girl that goes against the male gaze
theory as I wanted to portray females to be
independent and not to be dependant on males.
That is why my model is fully clothed and her
assents aren’t portrayed to be inviting to males and
to empower female rights.
However, although my model is fully clothed she
still presents a sense of seduction by her direct
address to the audience by her lips being slightly
opened.
A black female was the model of my magazine as
black females aren’t seen to be positive as they’re
weak in the world. So by having a black model I am
breaking the stereotype of a black female.
In addition, although I wanted my model to show
dominance she still has aspects of a women as she
has her nails done and also she is wearing a
necklace and rings to emphasise her outfit.
Having a bar code is a “common” magazine feature which
shows the audience which expresses professionalism and its
on a magazine for retail & commercial purposes
An incentive is being advertise to the audience which will
bring in more buyers as the incentive that is being advertised
is a big in value. The main headline of the incentive is
highlighted in pink as ‘Drake’ is a well-known R&B artist
which will catch the audience’s attention. In addition the
incentive has a black strip behind the context to stand out
from the rest on the context on the magazine.
The ANCHORAGE TEXT
& BUZZ WORD ‘ NADINE B. – THE NEW YEAR HAS
MANY SURPRISES IN STORE’ . This relates to the central
image as the model is called Nadine B and also the way she
is standing and giving us direct address shows that she is
being ‘fierce‘ and she is ‘sophisticated’ . She has a fierce
look that she is giving, her position looks like she is giving
the audience attitude and tells the audience that she has
confidence in what she is doing.
As you can see my magazine has minimal context this is because I wanted the magazine to have a sense of
enigma, ‘security’ and ‘secretive ‘ sense. In the left hand corner you can see the main artists which will be featured
inside of the magazine.
This was also done because my magazine is targeted at females as feminism do not get enough light in the industry
but if they’re in the light it is in a negative, naïve and dependant on the male. I also wanted my magazine to present
the hypodermic needle theory to advertise black female women. My magazine is to help portray females in a better
light and that females do not have to conform to the stereotype of females and they should be independent and that
they can succeed in the industry without having minimal clothing.
3. Logo: The capital ‘B’
stands for the name of
the magazine to give
reassurance to the
reader that this is
‘BUMP’ magazine.
Issue date: This shows
the reader what issue
the magazine is. It
shows that this is the
first one out of twelve.
Headings: This shows the
reader a clear distinction
of the content that the
magazine will encounter
in the music section of
the magazine as it is
labelled ‘features’. The
other heading is ‘fashion’
Social networking sites: This shows the reader what
social media sites that the magazine is on so they are
able to access more information that is going on in the
magazine.
House style/Colour
scheme: This is the
colours and fonts
which will be seen
across the magazine.
The main colours are
blue, pink, black and
white. This shows
conventions of other
magazines.
Layout: The layout of
the contents page is
conventional as it is
styled in blocks which
make it easier for the
reader to be able to
read.
Pull quote:The pull quote
gives readers the insight of
what the interview will be
about, it also has the page
number of the interview
so they can find the
interview easier.
4. I personally felt that when creating my contents page it was a challenge because of knowing what content I should produce onto my contents page. The
producing and navigation of the contents wasn’t hard but how to lay out the contents page was a very indecisive role. However, the due to my research
of contents pages from ‘VIBE’ it helped me a lot.
An example of this is how the ‘contents’ text is laid out as it is very abstract which will catch the readers’ eye. In addition, I also took the idea of having
the name of the magazine’s first letter to be placed behind the ‘contents’. The letter is positioned to the left side of the magazine so it doesn’t distract the
reader from the image and also the context.
I feel that my contents page isn’t conventional to most music magazines as the content of the magazine isn’t a lot which I prefer because then the
magazine doesn’t look too busy.
I personally think that my final outcome succeeded as it looks quite similar to the magazine that research.
I also feel that I lead the consistency of the same artist to the contents page and that I only have one image on the contents page because I am trying to
make the main focus of the magazine on how females should be presented in the music industry and to break down the stereotype of females so there
isn’t the typical ‘male gaze’ image of the female.
The difference of the picture in the contents and front cover was done to show a range of personality of the artist. In the image you can see the top half
of the model’s outfit more, which shows her fully clothed but also shows her wearing a necklace.
5. Like many magazines I separated the main image and the
content of the interview, this is very conventional for most
magazines.
The context of the magazine is conventional but also
unconventional because most interviews tell the reader
facts and statistics of the artist. However, conventionally the
magazine does allow the artist to answer questions from
the interviewer which were made from the readers’ of the
magazine.
On the left hand side of the double page spread I included
two pull quotes from the interview to show the reader a
direct insight of the interview as it stands out as it is in a
bigger font and in a different colour to the rest of the
magazine. Also I placed the ‘logo’ of the artist name on the
magazine, this shows the reader and has a sense of
reassurance as the reader will be familiar of the artist’s logo
name. It also shows superimposition on the text
overlapping the image and also and anchorage as the name
of the artist links with the main image.
To continue the house style and also the colour scheme of
this issue of the magazine, I kept the same colour
background and colour of fronts to show
professionalism, which is conventional to most magazines
as this artist is the main focus throughout the magazine.
Like most magazines when giving an interview to the artist
with questions the separation of the interviewers words
and the interviewees is obvious by having a difference in
colour and in the layout.
A brief introduction or also known as a ‘stand first’ is
given to the reader before they read the interview, it
introduces the artist and also gives the reader a brief
description of the artist.
Drop capitals were also used to show the reader where
the start of the interview begins. It is always bigger than
majority of the font in the content.
