20 years of extensive medical experience in direct patient care,
process improvement, quality analysis, logistics and supply
support which is in direct patient care of active duty sailors,
Marines and their families.
My experience in Navy medicine includes: mid management
leadership in Quality Management with experience in continuous
improvement, data analysis of HEDIS and ORYX measures,
continuous support on several command wide process improvement
projects in patient care, staff training and enlisted

Support of several BUMED mandated programs which required me to

Accomplishments: Implemented processes that increased medical
readiness form 85% to 94% overall accomplishing significant
mission readiness of command and 100% accountability. Kept
medical data systems accurate by doing weekly spot checks to be
able to track medical readiness at 100%. Assisted in training of
all medical staff to be cross-trained in department on MRRS,
AHLTA, CHCS, and Excel.

Station. In Charge of 22 member health care staff that took care
of over 1,200 Marines and Sailors. He was sought out by his
peers for expertise in office regulations and policies. Had a
budget of $30,000 dollars a quarter and responsible for 2
million dollars in equipment. Is highly experience with
organizational structure, function, policies and procedures of
Supply Battalion Medical Clinic. Excellent in administrative
support in various reports of meetings, schedules, training
materials, presentation prepping and briefings.
Accomplishments: Trained medical staff in patient flow
procedures that reduced the wait time conditions for Marines to
be seen. Experience with Navy Medicine activities, operations,
and established guidelines relating to records maintenance and
accountability which lead to passing command inspection. As the
lead training manager I confirmed that the medical staff was
compliant with all command, BUMED accreditation and survey
readiness requirements monitoring both long and short term plans
and by analyzing data. In doing so, I had 100 percent tracking
system for qualifications and mandatory training requirements.

Duties: Leading Petty Officer of Quality Management and Work
Center supervisor. As a Work Center supervisor, I led a four
member team on compiling and summarizing information and data to
be analyze and process using Statistical support software. This
data was received from various medical departments for analysis
relating to in-patient/out-patient surveys to support the
TRICARE mandated customer satisfaction metrics.
Collaborated on setting up Quality Management SharePoint web
site and managed daily content for updates to ensure that NMCSD
staff were kept appraised of all quality measures.
Accomplishments: Vital member of Lean Sig Sigma black belt
project in gathering important data and was directly
instrumental in launching SharePoint surveys needed for several
process improvement projects. This data was important for

HEDIS metrics within the Quality Management domain.
USS Ronald Reagan CVN-76 Coronado CA 92118 Aug 2004 to Aug 2007
Salary: $55,000, 40 plus hours/week
Duties: Leading Medical Supply Petty Officer in charge of five
personnel and 2 million dollars of medical supplies. Other
collaterals included oversight of the medical record process.
The check in and out of medical records was streamlined and
record accountability was improved to 100%. Additional
collateral was the designation as the ambulatory care scheduler
for all the ships medical appointments off shore and triage
technician for sick call. Also a vital member of the rapid
response team and RAD health emergency tech.
Accomplishments: Successfully overhauled and streamlined using
medical usage data on ordering the right amount to meet demand
for three medical supply storerooms to be 45% more efficient and
was awarded Navy/Marine achievement medal for high scores on
supply medical readiness inspection.
