U.S. NAVY WORK EXPERIENCE
Navy Mobilization Processing Site (NMPS) San Diego, CA 2011 – 2014
Hospital Corpsman
 Supervised the daily operations of the NMPS medical department. Ensured the accurate processing o f
medical requirements for over 9,000 personnel preparing for overseas deployment and those
recently returned from deployment to ensure critical post-deployment medical care is effectively
completed.
 Assisted in the development of process models to evaluate alternative courses of action as well as
development of improved processes, measuring resultant change in performance and recommending
further process adjustments.
 Responsible for all command weekly and monthly team assignments and medical reports including
reports to Commander, Navy Installations Command. Developed and delivered the weekly medical
status brief to command leadership.
 Observed clinic space arrangements and resource allocation to identify physical contributors to
inefficiency. Working with hospital staff and laboratory analysts, assisted in the development of key
production metrics to measure clinic performance and quantify inefficiencies.
 Performed on-site data collection and analysis as a member of process improvement team. Analyzed,
and mapped key work and administrative processes and patient flows within the clinic to improve
efficiency.
 Responsible for medical readiness analysis to inform the physician for early diagnosis essential to
ensuring patients were referred promptly for evaluation, provided treatment (if indicated), and
linked into counseling and related support services to expedite the mobilization process in a limited

 Fulfilled all data system requirements and regular updates for the Navy Medical Readiness Reporting
