1. The Images: These images consistof artist’s found within
the magazine. They are placed here so readers know what
the magazineincludes and they can check to see if they’d
want to buy the magazineand to see if they’d be interested
in reading about the artist’s included. On each image there
is a page number this is convenient as people can easily find
the page that that artistappears on.
The charts list: The
chart list updates the
readers of what
music is recent and
what songs thepublic
are enjoying. All
billboard magazine’s
include this on their
contents pages. The
songs and artists are
separated into
different colours so
the reader can easily
distinguish which chart
number the artist/song
is.
The masthead: The masthead is the
typical ‘Billboard’ wrotein the
colours black, blue, yellow and red.
The same ‘billboard’ masthead is
consistentin every magazine.
Main Image: The main image is a picture of Benny
Blanco a Grammy award winning record producer,
songwriter, musician and record label owner. The
image is in a black and white filter which shows class.
There is a lot of black on the contents page so his
black suit matches with that, and his white shirtand
skin matches with the white on the page. The main
image stands out massively and there is a lot of colour
on the page.
The background: The background is
mostly white, besides the chart section
which is grey. Since they have different
coloured background shows. The
difference in colours shows separation
of the charts and the contents. So it’s
easier for people to pick out a piece of
information from the contents as they
look for the white background, or look
for the grey if they want information
fromthe charts.

is in black and the
title in blue so there
is a clear distinction
between the
