Painting refers to applying color to a flat surface using various materials like watercolors, acrylics, oils, etc. There are different forms of painting including easel paintings meant for hanging, murals for imparting social messages, telon paintings used as backdrops in Filipino theater, and jeepney/calesa paintings decorating vehicles. 2. Painting refers to the process of applying colors on a flat surface. Forms can be
created using a wide variety of materials such as watercolors, acrylic,ink, oil,
pastel, and charcoal. Surface for painting includes wood, canvas cardboard,

• Easel painting
The easel painting is perhaps the most common form of painting. As the name
