Construction of the double page
 spread for my music magazine
         By Rosanna Todd
1) Using InDesign I started to create my double page spread. I added
in the copy (text) into columns and edited the fonts. I also added a
masthead and a standfirst. On the second page I added a pull quote and
put the image in for the background so that it is an image led page.
2) Next I changed the colours of the fonts to more suitable colours which
would attract the target audience. I also added in a black background so
ensured that the colours I used on top were bright so that they could still be
seen. I also added a drop capital at the start of the article as this is a convention
used in real media products. Furthermore, I added picture and word credits
and another separate image of the artist at the end of the article. I also used
different coloured fonts for the question and answer parts of the article so that
it is clearer for the target audience to read.
