• Involved in installation of piping for various system like process gas, nitrogen system, crude oil, fuel gas, instrument air,
water lines, fare gas system.
• Walk down ( prior to pressure testing) to ensure that piping test pack is completed, check for piping installed as per P &
ID, ISO, GA drawings, all NDE carried out and results checked, material certificates checked, all supports installed
correctly, check for limits of the test section, locations of vent points, drain point, filling point, pressurizing and de-
pressurizing point, location of pressure gauges, location of pressure, temperature and time recorder for recording the
graph on the chart, check for blinds and spades locations, check for bolting of flanges, check for field welded joints not
painted/insulated, check for manual valves, check for accessibility, check for flushing and leak tested.
• Involved in witnessing hydro testing of Tanks and Piping systems and check for any leak visually.
• Involved in Piping Pre-test punch listing and releasing for Pressure test.
• Responsible for test pressure requirement as per specification.
• Involved in Verification of calibration of pressure gauges before the hydro test.
• Witnessing of Cleaning, flushing and Purging of tanks and piping systems.

PMI for alloys, NDT, control of welding consumables.
• Involved in verification of NDT status before pressure test.
• Reviewing tanks and piping system test packs before the hydro test.

medium pressure compressors, atmospheric pressure compressors, lube oil coolers, Pumps, conveyors,
