Construction and development construction of poster
1. Construction and Development:
Construction of my Poster
- Imogen Law
I used Photoshop to create my poster. Audience
feedback has shown me that my Poster is
effective as it does not give too much of the
film away. In addition to this I have learnt that
my audience feedback has showed me that
my final poster is professional.
2. The first thing I added for
the creation of my poster
was the picture, I then
added some pictures of a
dark wood and put them in
the background to make
the picture look darker.
I added more of a
misty picture so that
the picture in the
background would be
covered up more, this
is because there was
fences in the
background. In
addition to this I
wanted to recreate
the misty look that
appears in the Friday
the 13th
poster that
my poster is based on.
3. The next step I took in the development of
my poster was I added a picture I have
previously taken and embedded it into the
background, I did this to create more effect. I
also did this so that my two main character
were on my front cover of my magazine and
my poster. In addition to this, I believe that
this would make the audience question why
the character there and would draw them in
more.
The next thing I added was the title,
slogan and the characters names. I
kept the colour of the title bright so
that it would stand out on my
poster. I then kept the rest of the
writing white as I thought the title
would stand out more if the rest of
the writing was white.
4. The final step I took during the creation of my poster was the adding of my
expert witnesses. I chose to have the colour yellow for this as I did not want to
follow normal convention and have it white. I had the date white as I believed it
made it stand out more and this is the effect I wanted. I believe that the
audience do not take much interest in the expert witnesses and they take more
interest in the date. This is why I have made the date white so that it stands out
more.
