2. Zero Conditional
 IF + SIMPLE PRESENT ... SIMPLE PRESENT
 USE:
- a general fact
 If you heat water to 100°C, it boils.
- a personal truth
 I feel terrible if I sleep less than eight hours.

3. First Conditional
 IF + SIMPLE PRESENT ... SIMPLE FUTURE
 USE:
- a possibility
 If it is sunny, we will have lunch outside.

4. Second Conditional
 IF + SIMPLE PAST ... would/could + simple form
 USE:
- an improbable event
 If I won the lottery, I would travel around
the world.
- situation opposite to the reality
 If she didn't have so much to do, she could
rest more.
- a piece of advice
 I would review more if I were you.

5. Third Conditional
 IF + PAST PERFECT... would/could + have + Past Participle
 USE:
- situation opposite to the past event
 If she had set her alarm, she wouldn't
have missed class.

6. Mixed Conditional
 IF + PAST PERFECT... would/could + simple form
 IF + PAST PERFECT... would/could + be + -ing
 USE:
- a past situation that affects the present one
 If he had passed the class, he wouldn't be
in it again now.
 If he had passed the class, he wouldn't be
taking it again now.

7. Mixed Conditional
 IF + PAST PERFECT... would/could + simple form
 IF + PAST PERFECT... would/could + be + -ing
 USE:
- a past situation that affects the present one
 If he had passed the class, he wouldn't be
