in actual traffic situations. One type of information is the lane structure surrounding the vehicle.
Therefore, driver assistance functions which make explicit use of the lane structure represented
by lane borders and lane markings is to be analysed. Lane analysis is performed on the road
region to remove road pixels. Only lane markings are the interests for the lane detection
process. Once the lane boundaries are located, the possible edge pixels are scanned to
continuously obtain the lane model. The developed system can reduce the complexity of vision
data processing and meet the real time requirements.

According to the fact that there is no renewing of Indonesia Highway Capacity Manual (IHCM) for over 17 years, while in the same way, traffic characteristics has significantly changed, leads the research to know the mismatch of the traffic performance prediction by IHCM. The research object is the traffic characteristics of WR. Supratman Street of Bandung and Affandi Street of Yogyakarta. Vissim software was used for the analysis purpose, then the result will be compared by KAJI software, which known as the product of IHCM. It shows that KAJI predicted the higher value of traffic speed and the lower value of road capacity than Vissim. Since Vissim’s model is statistically valid, it can says that KAJI is no longer suitable to predict the traffic speed and road capacity of WR. ABSTRACT:

The application demonstrates a concurrent train simulation in a 2-way direction train movement on
the same track. In this application Trains are added with a origin station at the beginning of the route
cycle with a time lap of between 3 to 6 seconds. When the trains currently on map simulation (or)
maximum number of trains what we specified is not available on map (or) no more trains are in
movement then trains can move to both directions. When a train leaves from the origin station it is
locking the both options like: Path and the platform at the next immediate station, the check goes
like this firstly if the path found free , then if there is any free platform at the next station. If both
platform are free then its choosing the one that have same direction trains on it. If no train is in both
platform then platform 0 its chosen by default. If others trains coming, then the train waits until all
others can pass by. If the trains is an express then the train is not stopping at the stations. When an
express train exits a station is locking the next 2 stations so it can move faster than the other trains.
This however will be done, after a time of 150 sec, so we ensure we will not have a colision between
express and new trains on map.
The theme of this project is aimed to serve the looping railways by which we could able to
demonstrate the moving simulation of trains, no. of trains & speed control time gap are those
adjustable functions and highlight to this application.

manually.
Proposed System with Features
1. The implementation of the proposed system is java application based system.
2. This automated system allows the users to access information from various devices.
3. This control program for the trains that lets them travel between two stations safely.

1. We Can Avoid Collision between the two trains.
2. Trains run in a synchronize manner.
