Hello and welcome everyone, my name is Mithun Dhar and I head the Evangelism team at Concur. My team focuses on helping customers tap into the potential that the Concur Platform has to offer.
In the next five minutes, my goal is to help you understand three key questions.
What is Concur?
Why should you care about Concur? And lastly,
How can you leverage the Concur platform to tap into this large ecosystem?
And, we are going to answer all these questions by way of numbers.
Concur is an integrated Travel & Expense management software. We have over 27 million customers across more than 23 thousand enterprises.
More than 60% of the Fortune 1000 companies use Concur. We are also used by the Federal Govt and have a very strong presence across the Small and Medium business space as well.
Just savor the information on this slide for a minute. That’s a LOT of data! In fact, we release what is called as a Spend Report every year. Go ahead and download that to get lots of good information on what business travelers are spending on.
We are a very, very live and well thriving ecosystem – in fact, on any given day more than a million customers log into our product to either make a booking, capture an expense or check an itinerary. More than a 150,000 trips are booked on our platform EVERY single day. More than 300,000 expense reports are submitted and the rest of the stats you can read. The point is, we get a lot of data! A LOT!
We operate in over 194 countries and more than 43 million transactions take place EVERYDAY. All of this spend day in and day out accrues to about...
…$55 billion dollars annually. And note, that this number keeps going up year after year. We are growing by over 30% YOY for the last decade or so.
And, here’s where magic happens! We collate, analyze and synthesize all the data, the $55 billion dollars worth of spend data and release a very rich, insightful report called the ExpenseIQ report. You should download this report – its quite a fascinating study that can tell a lot about the business travel and expense world.
