A Few Things Which Affect The Overall Performance Of A
Computer Are Listed Below:-
1. CPU Speed
2. RAM (random access memory)
3. Hard Disk
1. CPU Speed
• CPU clock speed is measured in Hertz (Hz). It is also called the Clock
rate.
• This speed is a measure of how many clock cycles a CPU can perform
per second.
• Eg – 2GHz = 2,000,000,000 clock cycles per second.
• The higher the clock speed, the faster the instruction will be
processed by the CPU
2. RAM
• If the amount of RAM is large enough to hold information in it, this
may result in faster performance.
• Faster CPU mean better performance.
• Complex heavy performance, high utility systems, and gaming
systems need larger RAMs.
3. Hard Disk
• The size and speed of hard disk is also crucial for a computing device.
• The faster is the speed, better will be the overall performance.
