 Cytomegalovirus(CMW)
- occur infection in first month of
transplantation
Symptoms - fever, hypoxia, bleeding, ulcer
Treatment - Valganciclovir (oral)
- Ganiciclovir (iv)
 Epstein-barr virus
- mainly cause lymphoma in recipient

5.  Mainly cause after first month of
transplantation
 Major Causative agent- Candida,
Aspergillus
 Treatment - Fluconazole for Candida
- Itraconazole for Aspergillus
- Amphotericin B

6.  Majorly cause by Staphylococcus,
Pseudomonas species
 Cause- Pneumonia
- Urinary tract infection (UTI)
 Treatment- Antimicrobial agent
Example- Sulphamethoxazole,
Trimethoprim, Ciprofloxacin
