Micromeritics - Fundamental and Derived Properties of Powders
Comparison with Existing Films
1. ● The first comparison illustrates the wide shots
that are conventional in social realism films,
illustrating Dead Man’s Shoes and our
production
● The second comparison demonstrates the
exploration of social issues in ‘This is England’
and our production
● Here you can see the presentation of regional
identities in Dead Man’s Shoes via accents as
well as mise en scene, something we had to
convey without the use of dialogue.
2. ● Location shooting also took place within
our production, as within Four lions
Overall the production can be rendered a success in its use of conventions, and as these pictures demonstrate, it can be
clearly liked to genre conventions merely by still images. As it compares to a wealth of existing films of this genre,
such as Shane Meadow’s Work and Warp Film’s Four lions, this also contributes to this conclusion.
