A compact stack antenna consisting of square patch, loop couplers and inset feed line is reviewed in this work. This proposed design represents a stacked patch antenna having an arrangement of two substrates separated by an air gape and a coupling is provided using square loop structure. The structure is reviewed in two different directions firstly the feed arrangement is varied and secondly a variation in coupler structure is done to make the antenna work at multiple frequencies in UWB range. The simulation results of this work with different resonator structure and feed structures are presented and comparative analysis of these different arrangements is presented in this paper. Simulation results obtained from the proposed antenna for return loss, polar radiation and pattern voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) shows its suitability for ultra wide band application.

This paper proposes a microstrip patch antenna (MSPA) in the Ku band for satellite applications. The antenna is small in size with dimensions of about 40 mm×48 mm×1.59 mm and is fed with a coaxial cable of 50 Ω impedance. The proposed antenna has a wide bandwidth of 3.03 GHz ranging from 12.8 GHz to 15.8 GHz. A nested square-shape dielectric resonator for microwave band antenna applica...IJECEIAES
In this paper, a nested square-shape dielectric resonator (NSDR) has been designed and investigated for antenna applications in the microwave band. A solid square dielectric resonator (SSDR) was modified systematically by introducing air-gap in the azimuth (ϕ-direction). By retaining the square shape of the dielectric resonator (DR), the well-known analysis tools can be applied to evaluate the performance of the NSDR. To validate the performance of the proposed NSDR in antenna applications, theoretical, simulation, and experimental analysis of the subject has been performed. A simple microstrip-line feeding source printed on the top of Rogers RO4003 grounded substrate was utilized without any external matching network. Unlike solid square DR, the proposed NSDR considerably improves the impedance bandwidth. The proposed antenna has been prototyped and experimentally validated. The antenna operates in the range of 12.34 GHz to 21.7 GHz which corresponds to 56% percentage bandwidth with peak realized gain 6.5 dB. The antenna has stable radiation characteristics in the broadside direction. A close agreement between simulation and experimental results confirms the improved performance of NSDR in antenna applications.

EFFECT OF DIFFERENT SYMMETRIC SLITS ON MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNAjmicro
In this paper, a basic linearly polarised microstrip square patch antenna operating at 2.4 GHz is
proposed. We have modified the basic microstrip square patch antenna with rectangular shape slits, V
shape slits and truncated corners to achieve circular polarization. Basically we have designed five
different antennas to meet the specification. The various antennas have been simulated, fabricated and the
performance has been tested on network analyser (Agilent Technologies: N9912A, SNMY51464189,
ROHDE & SCHWARZ: ZVL13, 9 KHz to 13.6GHz,). The simulated and tested performance shows close
agreement with each other. The various structures used in this study are microstrip square patch radiator,
microstrip square patch radiator with truncated corner, rectangular slits, truncated corner with
rectangular slits and V shape slits. The experiment results show rectangular slits with truncated corners in
the main square patch and rectangular slits in the main square patch provide better performance with
respect to the antenna parameters. Designed antenna is compact and provides circular polarization at the
required operating frequency of 2.4GHz with improved bandwidth and gain. The use of circularly
polarized antennas presents an attractive solution to achieve this polarization match which allows for
more flexibility in the angle between transmitting and receiving antennas. It gives the following
advantages such as reduction in the effect of multipath reflections, decrease in transmission losses,
enhancement of weather penetration and allowing any orientation to the communication system

Making model of dual axis solar tracking with Maximum Power Point Trackingijsrd.com
Now a days solar harvesting is more popular. As the popularity become higher the material quality and solar tracking methods are more improved. There are several factors affecting the solar system. Major influence on solar cell, intensity of source radiation and storage techniques The materials used in solar cell manufacturing limit the efficiency of solar cell. This makes it particularly difficult to make considerable improvements in the performance of the cell, and hence restricts the efficiency of the overall collection process. Therefore, the most attainable maximum power point tracking method of improving the performance of solar power collection is to increase the mean intensity of radiation received from the source used. The purposed of tracking system controls elevation and orientation angles of solar panels such that the panels always maintain perpendicular to the sunlight. The measured variables of our automatic system were compared with those of a fixed angle PV system. As a result of the experiment, the voltage generated by the proposed tracking system has an overall of about 28.11% more than the fixed angle PV system. There are three major approaches for maximizing power extraction in medium and large scale systems. They are sun tracking, maximum power point (MPP) tracking or both.

Power dissipation is a challenging problem for today's system-on-chip design and test. This paper presents a novel architecture which generates the test patterns with reduced switching activities; it has the advantage of low test power and low hardware overhead. The proposed LP-TPG (test pattern generator) structure consists of modified low power linear feedback shift register (LP-LFSR), m-bit counter, gray counter, NOR-gate structure and XOR-array. The seed generated from LP-LFSR is EXCLUSIVE-OR ed with the data generated from gray code generator. Defending Reactive Jammers in WSN using a Trigger Identification Service.ijsrd.com
In the last decade, the greatest threat to the wireless sensor network has been Reactive Jamming Attack because it is difficult to be disclosed and defend as well as due to its mass destruction to legitimate sensor communications. As discussed above about the Reactive Jammers Nodes, a new scheme to deactivate them efficiently is by identifying all trigger nodes, where transmissions invoke the jammer nodes, which has been proposed and developed. Due to this identification mechanism, many existing reactive jamming defending schemes can be benefited. This Trigger Identification can also work as an application layer .In this paper, on one side we provide the several optimization problems to provide complete trigger identification service framework for unreliable wireless sensor networks and on the other side we also provide an improved algorithm with regard to two sophisticated jamming models, in order to enhance its robustness for various network scenarios.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. 2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Abstract— A compact stack antenna consisting of square
patch, loop couplers and inset feed line is reviewed in this
work. This proposed design represents a stacked patch
antenna having an arrangement of two substrates separated
by an air gape and a coupling is provided using square loop
structure. The structure is reviewed in two different
directions firstly the feed arrangement is varied and
secondly a variation in coupler structure is done to make the
antenna work at multiple frequencies in UWB range. The
simulation results of this work with different resonator
structure and feed structures are presented and comparative
analysis of these different arrangements is presented in this
paper. Simulation results obtained from the proposed
antenna for return loss, polar radiation and pattern voltage
standing wave ratio (VSWR) shows its suitability for ultra
wide band application.
Key words: Microstrip antenna, Return loss, Bandwidth,
VSWR, Reflection Coefficient
I. INTRODUCTION
For decades the microstrip antenna has been intensively
used due to its significant merits of small size , low profile,
light weight and easy integration to circuits. However, the
microstrip antennas inherently have a narrow bandwidth. To
overcome its limitation of narrow impedance bandwidth,
many techniques have suggested e.g., microstrip patch
antennas, for probe fed stacked antenna, on electrically thick
substrate, stacked shorted patches and slotted patch antenna
have been proposed and investigated. In general, the
impedance bandwidth of a patch antenna is proportional to
the antenna volume, measured in wavelengths. However, by
using two multi layered patches with the walls at the edges
between these two patches, one can obtain enhanced
impedance band width. A compact stack antenna consisting
of square loop resonators, aperture couples and feed line [1]
was reported for a dual band operation also the stacked
structure was utilized for multiband structure [2] again a
stacked structure had been applied to an equilateral
triangular microstrip patch antennas to reduce its overall
size [3], the stacked structure is utilized for bandwidth
enhancement also [4-6]. There has recently been
considerable interest in the two layer probe fed patch
antenna consisting of a driven patch in the bottom and a
parasitic patch [7-15]. This article represents a stacked
square patch antenna having an arrangement of two
substrates separated by an air gape and a coupling is
provided using square loop structure. A variation in feed
arrangements is done in different iterations to get a wide
band structure in UWB range.
The task is completed using two different
techniques and different results are summarized and
discussed, in section II basic design is discussed; in section
III the results of different designs are discussed. Further the
article is concluded.
II. ANTENNA DESIGN
The proposed antenna has a simple square patch using an
inset feed; the patch antenna is designed using the basic
concepts of the microstrip technology.
A. Basic theory
Microstrip patch antennas consist of a metallic patch of
metal that is on the top of a grounded dielectric substrate of
thickness h, with relative permittivity εr as shown in Fig. 1.
Fig. 1: Geometry of rectangular microstrip patch antenna
The metallic patch may be of various shapes, with
circular and rectangular being the most common; the
geometry of a Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna
(RMPA) is shown in Figure 3. The patch of length ‘L’,
width ‘W’ and thickness ‘t’ is printed on RT- Duroid (εr =
2.22) substrate.
B. Proposed Design
The proposed antenna is composed of a PEC (Perfect
Electric Conductor) ground plane, substrate #1 which is RT-
Duroid (εr = 2.22, h = 0.37 mm) above which a square loop
structure is printed with PEC, an air gape is introduced
between the first loop and second loop which is printed on
the bottom of the substrate # 2 RT-Duroid (εr = 2.22, h =
0.37 mm) above this substrate the PEC patch is printed with
inset feed line.

antenna
The dimensions of the patch are calculated using
the standard design equations [16] and optimized to a value
of 10 x 10 mm2
, both the substrates have dimension 25.4 x
25.4 mm2
, length of the inset feed line is optimized to 10.2
mm with a calculated width of 1.2 mm. The coupling loops
#1 and #2 are squares of sides 18 mm and 15 mm
respectively, the ground plane used here is defective ground
structure (DGS) with dimensions 25.4 x 13 mm2
. Partial
ground or defective ground structure is used here, in such a
technique named defected ground structure (DGS), the
ground plane metal of a microstrip ( or coplanar, or stripline
waveguide) circuit is intentionally modified to enhance
performance [17]. The DGS helps in shifting the resonant
frequency to get desired frequency [18], by combining with
a defective ground plane, the resonant frequency is lowered
and the bandwidth is augmented simultaneously [19]. DGS
helps in convergence of field in a relatively small region
shifting the high frequencies at lower dimensions, ultimately
playing a significant role in size reduction.
III. SIMULATION RESULTS AND ANALYSIS
Initial simulations were carried out for the proposed design
(Fig. 3) with the optimized dimensions.
The initial simulation results of Return loss (S11 in
dB) were obtained for the optimized design which is shown
in Fig. 4, we can observe from the result that there are two
frequency bands on the UWB range for which the S11 is
observed less than -10 dB. Initial results are quite sufficient
to prove the design satisfactory for the purpose, while the
stack antenna presented in reference design the bands of
2.46 GHz with bandwidth (BW) = 160MHz (6.58%) and
5.28 GHz with BW = 450MHz (8.52%) are achieved [1]. So
the frequencies obtained in this case are at 3.8GHz (1.84%)
and 9.4(2.23%) GHz respectively. The respective radiation
patterns for the central frequencies of the two bands i.e. at
3.8 GHz and 9.4 GHz are shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 and it
can be observe from the radiation patterns that the far-field
pattern is invariant of the frequency.

IV. CONCLUSIONS
In this paper the proposed antenna shows the enhancement
of bandwidth and simulation output gives a band of 5 GHz
frequency range. Initial results obtained are useful for
comparative study of different feed arrangements in single
patch. Thus the antenna solves the purpose for which it is
designed.
