Preventative Maintenance
EXPERIENCE
Dispatching- U.S. Marine Corps
• Managed vehicle assignment to support over 100 logistical tasks every month with different
requirements across multiple locations in a high stress, constant changing environment, resulting
in 100% efficiency for supported entities.
• Tracked on average over 10,000 miles traveled, 175,000 pounds of cargo moved, 800
personnel transported, 8,000 gallons of fuel consumed on a monthly basis; quantifying into a
Excel document for my supervisor to track use of unit funds, personnel, and equipment.
• Ensured personnel are properly licensed, qualified and given the correct authorizing paperwork
to operate specific types of vehicles and equipment.
• Trained three assistant dispatchers on the rules and regulations of and how to conduct
dispatching operations in the absence of an immediate Supervisor.
• Received three Certificates of Commendation from my leadership for following all regulations
and passing multiple government inspections with a score of 100%.
Inventory Control-U.S. Marine Corps
• Conducted monthly inventory of 75 tools per truck for 100 trucks to maintain accountability
totaling a value in excess of $200,000.
• Requisitioned all tools identified as missing, unserviceable or incomplete.
• Created a new inventory template using Microsoft Excel and implemented a more efficient
inventory process to make it easier to identify deficiencies and requisition parts.
• Trained five assistants how to conduct inventories and requisition parts in the absence of an
immediate Supervisor.
• Received two personal awards for keeping high accountability of equipment, resulting in an
annual savings of over $2,500.
• Assisted five units outside of my command to establish their inventory control procedures with
my personally created inventory template and process resulting in yearly fiscal surplus for them.
Preventative Maintenance-U.S. Marine Corps
• Ensured and conducted preventative maintenance on over 100 vehicles four times a month.
• Trained 30 employees on how to properly conduct preventative maintenance on a weekly basis
• Ensured vehicles requiring higher level maintenance were properly inducted into the
Maintenance cycle to maintain a high readiness of available rolling stock.
• Implemented a monthly training requirement for personnel to evaluate their proficiency at
Preventative maintenance.
• Created daily reports to indicate readiness percentage, location and estimated return date of all
Trucks using Microsoft word and Excel.
• Looked after the wellbeing and career advancement of 30 employees in Light/ Heavy Vehicle
