Grandpa tells the child a story about Christopher Columbus on Columbus Day. In the beginning the sailors were excited about
finding the New World with Christopher
Columbus. As time went on the
crewmembers got restless because there was
less food and water. They felt that the trip was
taking a lot longer than expected.
