College of St. Benedict/ St. John University- The Bonner Leader orientation at College of St. Benedict/ St. John University occurs two days prior to first-year orientation. Highlights include early move-in for all students, group bonding, discussions led by senior Bonners around the program expectations, a formal headshots event, and attendance at a large community event/outdoor concert to introduce students to the community.

1. Schedule:

○ To try to reduce the impact of the information to make it feel less overwhelming
○ To create a safe space to foster sharing and vulnerability (at least start to)

■ Balance the expectations and the knowledge that it doesn’t have to be
overwhelming
■ Might struggle at first, but if you continue to struggle talk to BLT because
it isn’t supposed to be like that
■ Bonner becomes easierif you’re behaving with intentionality and
passion.
