       implementation?

Part 1:
INTRODUCTION
 Originated from California, US since 1963
 Started operation in Malaysia on 1997
 Vision: To be simply the best local & global
  retailer on specialty of coffee & tea
 To create a spirit within our company that
  inspires our Team Members to provide our
  customers with a Total Quality Experience:
  Quality of Product, Service and Environment.

Part 2:
i) Opinion about code of conduct
 Something that every company must have
 Very important in order to ensure that the
  company operation will be going smoothly
 If it does not implemented, the operation
  will be unsystematic, there’s conflicts
  between managers and employees, and the
  business might failed.

ii) Implementation of code of conduct
 The company has their own code of conduct that
  need to be followed by the employees
 Every employees must sign an agreement to
  follow the code of conduct at the beginning of
  their career at coffee bean
 Any misconduct will be taken into action as
  stated in the agreement
 The employees will undergo 3 days training
  before starting their career in coffee

Implementation of code of conduct
 Have their own customer service to deal
  with customer complaints about the
  employees, services or products
 Every month, the audit will be conducted as
  one way to avoid any misconduct

 Cash manipulation
 Employees late come to work
 Unsold items-less promotion
 Employees unfriendly towards customer

Part 3:
Assessment of the ethical practices
 For employees:
  The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf trying to make their
  employees feel appreciated- give training for 3 days
  motto “Simply the Best”
 For shareholders:
  The company try to provide a constant and reasonable
  level of profitability- auditor will come to audit their
  company accounts

 For suppliers:
  The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf try to maintain cordial
  relationships and foster their development- order the
  inventory on the given time - JIT
 For customers:
  The company also provide exemplary service and
  support them in their growth and development-
  customer service centre
 For competitors:
  To compete vigorously in the market based on fair
  marketing practices- Starbucks, The Kopitiam

  The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf guarantee high quality
  and a variety of healthy drinks & food products
  through the continuous improvement of their brands-
  Online Shopping
 For community:
  The company promote the strengthening of universal
  ethical values. They also support the economic and
  social development of those communities in which
  they have operations- Provide HALAL menu, Caring
  Cup Fund (RM1)

Recommendation & Conclusion
