Dissipation Study of Thiophanate Methyl Residue in/on Grapes (Vitis vinifera ...Dr. Sudeb Mandal
A multi-location field trial was conducted in
India during 2006–2008 to evaluate the dissipation pattern
of thiophanate methyl (75% WP) in/on grapes at two
application rates (500 and 1,000 g a.i. ha-1). The quantitative analysis of the fungicide residues as carbendazim
was performed using a UV/VIS spectrophotometer at the
maximum absorption band of 281 nm. The average
recovery was found 87% and the relative standard deviations (RSD) were below 3.8%. Following the first order
kinetics the fungicide dissipates in grapes with a half-life
(t) value of 4.74–6.52 days irrespective of locations and
doses.

Photodegradation of Hexythiaz ox in Different Solvent Systems under the Influ...Dr. Sudeb Mandal
The photodegradation of the carboxamide acaricide hexythiazox in three different solvent systems (aqueous
methanolic, aqueous isopropanolic, and aqueous acetonitrilic solutions) in the presence of H2O2, KNO3, and TiO2 under ultraviolet
(UV) light (λmax g 250 nm) and sunlight (λmax g 290 nm) has been assessed in this work. The kinetics of photodecomposition of
hexythiazox and the identification of photoproducts were carried out using liquid chromatographymass spectrometry. The rate of
photodecomposition of hexythiazox in different solvents followed first-order kinetics in both UV radiation and natural sunlight, and
the degradation rates were faster under UV light than under sunlight. Hexythiazox was found to be more efficiently photodegraded
in the presence of TiO2 than in the presence of H2O2 and KNO3. Two major photoproducts were separated in pure form using
column chromatography and identified according to IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectral information as cyclohexylamine and 5-(4-
chlorophenyl)-4-methylthiazolidin-2-one. Another nine photoproducts were identified according to LC-MS/MS spectral information. The plausible photodegradation pathways of hexythiazox were proposed according to the structures of the photoproducts

A complex, multifaceted and little discussed construct, power nevertheless influences every relationship in our lives, every context we show up in. Historically humanity has struggled deeply with this facet of our existence. These struggles frequently leave us either limp with frustration or pumped up like puffer fish on our own importance. And when events in our world reach crescendos of chaos and limited resource, the application of power has a nasty track record. Despite the direct relevance of this topic to the quality of our human lives and that of the entire planet, power remains a philosophical runt and a practical hornet’s nest. This paper is an invitation to an ongoing dialogue around and concrete practice of healthy, ethical forms of power in our everyday contexts.
Building on the work of Integral, organizational, and developmental theorists, this presentation offers a summary of some new frameworks for understanding power, its application and its contexts. We will then dive into the concrete tools and practices that provide us with a much-needed set of levers for instituting healthier and more ethical expressions of power in any organizational context. Using case studies from the application of this set of tools in a range of organizations, I discuss what appears to work in practice and the theory behind the practice.

Patient and family rights, is an ongoing process aiming at meeting better than their expectations. The health care providers strive to achieve the task, through a dynamic model.
An added value regarding the responsibilities of the patients and their families
In Er, health care providers are confronted to spine injury, where wrong manipulations and positions, may provoke irreversible impacts. Here are some hints to meet the challenge
Arterial Hypertension is a devastating illness, against which we better get ready to control it - Patient and family awareness needs more effort from providers. A companion is Respiratory Distress to recognize and manage in ER
Among the health care givers, the nursing team would certainly being aware of the qualifications and responsibilities of a head nurse,
on the road to health care quality improvement
Health care givers, led by a medical director,
would get awareness to enhance a better performance, when aware of a medical director qualifications and responsibilities
The how of a design, for health care quality improvement, made simple, would help constructing bridges for and effectively acceptable template for a better performance.
Quality Management Health Plan is a roadmap to apply standards of health care quality improvement for health care providers. An individualized one is to be taken into consideration, cause quality isn't a fit-for-all dress, despite of having similar objectives

Overall life span (LS) was 1671.7±1721.6 days and cumulative 5YS reached 62.4%, 10 years – 50.4%, 20 years – 44.6%. 94 LCP lived more than 5 years without cancer (LS=2958.6±1723.6 days), 22 – more than 10 years (LS=5571±1841.8 days). 67 LCP died because of LC (LS=471.9±344 days). AT significantly improved 5YS (68% vs. 53.7%) (P=0.028 by log-rank test). Cox modeling displayed that 5YS of LCP significantly depended on: N0-N12, T3-4, blood cell circuit, cell ratio factors (ratio between cancer cells-CC and blood cells subpopulations), LC cell dynamics, recalcification time, heparin tolerance, prothrombin index, protein, AT, procedure type (P=0.000-0.031). Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and N0-12 (rank=1), thrombocytes/CC (rank=2), segmented neutrophils/CC (3), eosinophils/CC (4), erythrocytes/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), stick neutrophils/CC (8), leucocytes/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (error=0.000; area under ROC curve=1.0).
