1. Designation of Clinic Teacher
• As required DepED-DOH Joint Circular (JMC) No. 1, s. 2021 entitled
Operational Guidelines on the Implementation of Limited Face-
face Learning Modality
• Provision of care, first aid, does health assessment and physical
examination, as needed.
• Services like proper management of symptoms or appropriate
intervention and first aid; referral and follow-up of learners, teachers,
and personnel to health facilities.
• Manage the clinic every school day
• Coordinate with the division health personnel
2. A Clinic- Teacher must be:
• Non-Smoker
• Without Co-morbidity
• Have been fully-vaccinated against Covid-19
• Preferably below 60 years of age
• With background on health is preferred
3. ClinicSuppliesandequipmentassuggested:
• Bed
• Glucometer
• First Aid medicines like Paracetamol, antispasmodic
• Thermal Scanner
• Pulse Oximeter
• Oxygen tank and cannula
• Nebulizing kit
• BP apparatus
• First Aid Kit (Alcohol, cotton, betadine,elastic bandage,hydrogen
peroxide)
4. • Personal Protective Equipment (medical mask, gloves, gown)
• Logsheets and forms
• Clinic related IEC materials like COVID-19 symptoms and flowchart

The clinic teacher must be present everyday and knows the contact numbers of the different affiliates and important stakeholders.
It is also important to designate an alternative clinic teacher in case the main clinic teacher gets sick or cannot be physically present in school.
The number of alternative clinic teacher depends on the needs of the school.
