1 Rainfall is highly variable
No pattern in the annual rainfall fluctuation (dry and wet years)
Late onset and early cessation (highly variable)
Annual rainfall concentrated in few rainy days
2 Warming is real in the District. About 1 degree so far

Climate change is far from an abstract concept in Saboba District
Its already determining the course of people’s lives
eg Floods, flushfloods, wildfires, dust storms
Greater unpredictability in Rainfall patterns: serious consequences
for people who rely on land and water-bodies to feed themselves
and to earn a living.
