This project develops technologies to produce clean-burning cooking gas from agricultural waste at a lower cost than current methods. The gas reduces air pollution and deforestation while being more affordable than charcoal. The project will train 1,000 people and produce 100 metric tons of gas, providing income and improving health for over 10,000 families. Currently, the site is cleared and awaiting final equipment to begin gas production. An additional $100 million is required for working capital.
