This document describes an improved cook stove project in Rwanda that has positive environmental, social, and health impacts. It summarizes that the project prevents 120,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, saves 2.1 million hours of time collecting firewood, and reduces instances of illness for over 77,000 people. It also notes that the project reduces the need for firewood by 70% and is certified under the Gold Standard certification.
