• Differentiate normal from abnormal and explanation of causes
of pathological condition : (tetracycline stain , delayed
eruption )
• Parent counseling and education ( food intake during
pregnancy )
• Prevention of anomalies related to drug intakes during tooth
development (tetracycline is contraindicated before 8 years)
