HORSE in a nutshell
BOSCH co-manipulation
OPSA castings
TRI cold forming
• Foster robotics technology deployment in
manufacturing industries
Objectives
• Framework enabling the deployment of robotics
solutions
• Competence Centres acting as clustering points
for manufacturing
• Open Call to deploy and assess the HORSE
solution
Approach
• interactions between humans, robots and
machines with no fences
• Integration with pre-existing machines and
workflows.
• Safety of the worker & reduction of health risks
Focuses
Centres of Competence, Robotics Innovation Hubs in HORSE
What are they?
• Four settings representative of
manufacturing installations: DE, FR, NL, SL
• Robot and supplies used in production lines.
Their role?
• Simplify usage and facilitate access to
robotics by European industry and especially
first users SME.
• Offer expert support for advising on
deployment and fast assessment of robotics
solutions in manufacturing.
• Capitalise lessons learnt and best practices.
Their scope?
• Aim at capturing the industrial ecosystem in
each region where they are implemented.
