This document provides information about Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP), a Malaysian government agency responsible for language and literature development. It discusses the history and architects of DBP's original 1962 building and newer 2002 Menara building. The original building was designed by prominent Malaysian architect Dato' Y.T. Lee and featured a modernist design with a glazed mosaic mural. DBP has since expanded with additional buildings in Sabah and Sarawak.
