This document provides instructions for a lesson on the physical geography of China and how it affected early Chinese dynasties. Students will be assigned one geographic feature to research, such as the Yangtze River or Gobi Desert. They will create an informational poster on the feature and how it impacted dynasties. Students will then view each other's posters and write tweet summaries. The exit ticket asks students to identify features, discuss their influence, and summarize what they learned in 3-5 sentences.
