[2:58 p.m., 2022-06-19] Lloyd Helferty: I would also like to submit a formal
request to the existing "UnityNet Africa & Diaspora" (UNAD) Board of Directors for
tomorrow's meeting (i.e. put on the Agenda for discussion at both the Open
discussion on Monday and the Board meeting on Friday) to formally change the
name and the "branding" of UNAD to:
*UnityNet International Africa &
Diaspora* (UNIAD), in alignment with both:
1. - the Regenerative Finance
structures that we are trying to create (so that we can eventually become a "self-
financing" entity)
[where we can start moving investor "money" from the
#DegenerativeEconomy into the #Circular #RegenerativeEconomy: i.e the
Productive #CCRE that #LNOB]
and
2. - the ambition that "UNIAD" will wish to have a "Global Presence",
and be on the "World Stage" as an "international actor" through the
#EmploweringVoice of the "6th Region" of Africa, i.e. the "African Diaspora", which
we had a discussion on Thursday during our IGU Summit event can be described
as per the definition created by the African Union as,
"Consisting of people
of African origin living outside the continent, irrespective of their citizenship and
nationality and who are willing to contribute to the development of the continent
and the building of the African Union."
Finally, at the end of yesterday's meeting it was suggested that we need to,
"Create the Glossary. We need a bibliography."
So it was suggested to:
"Start a Wikipedia page for the UnityNet".
So a few Agenda items for Monday's meeting:
1. UNAD --> UNIAD (re-
branding)
2. Suggest: One [1] representative from each "region" in the
Diaspora added to the Board of Directors (see below)
3. Creating a Wikipedia
page for UnityNet (with Glossary, Bibliography, Definitions of Acronyms etc.)

100% are participants of UNAD and UNI; pictures submitted
still only 50% submitted
I planted 30 tree with team in the name of UnityNet in my area

I suggested that the committee members should be set up for the tree
plantation, in setting up of committees what is matter is to put the right people on
board that can get the work done.

For me, we should move away from conflicts of responsibilities. every
committee established must think of having a WhatsApp group. the problems
continue. let us allow those who are responsible for 4 specific areas to function
and help them function. in Africa, we already have a committee for tree planting,
that is the project team. it is their full responsibility. anyone who wants to help,
please go through them to avoid conflict of responsibilities. more committees,
more difficulties to manage.....
