1. Introduction
The protocol for structured chat sessions as presented in this document is inspired by the Case
Clinics protocol that has been implemented many times by Pieter Haasnoot in corporate settings.
The original protocol has been modified to suit the needs of the project. These needs differ in the
following ways:
 The roles “case givers” and “coaches” have been replaced by the roles “facilitators” and
“participants”;
 Key are not the “case givers” but the “participants”;
 The aim is not getting help but reflecting on a concrete topic.

2. The project chat protocol
 Duration: around 60 minutes
 A facilitator has been chosen beforehanded
1. Check in (10 minutes)
 Participants share how they are doing.
o No interference by others.
o No dialogue.
2. Intention statement by the facilitator (10-20 minutes)
 What is the topic the facilitator wants to address?
 What is the facilitator’s intention?
 Introduction (f.i. watching a video)
o No interference by others.
o No dialogue.
3. Stillness (3 minutes)
 Participants reflect on the introduction in silence.
o Participants let images, feelings and body sensations come up.
4. Mirroring images (10 minutes)
 Each participant shares the images, feelings, and sensations that came up.
o No interference by others.
o No dialogue.
5. Reflection and generative dialogue (10 minutes)
 Participants ask questions between themselves with curiosity and with the intention to
serve.

Introduction The protocol for structured chat sessions as presented in this document is inspired by the Case Clinics protocol that has been implemented many times by Pieter Haasnoot in corporate settings. The original protocol has been modified to suit the needs of the project. These needs differ in the following ways:  The roles “case givers” and “coaches” have been replaced by the roles “facilitators” and “participants”;  Key are not the “case givers” but the “participants”;  The aim is not getting help but reflecting on a concrete topic.

The project chat protocol  Duration: around 60 minutes  A facilitator has been chosen beforehanded 1. Check in (10 minutes)  Participants share how they are doing. o No interference by others. o No dialogue. 2. Intention statement by the facilitator (10-20 minutes)  What is the topic the facilitator wants to address?  What is the facilitator’s intention?  Introduction (f.i. watching a video) o No interference by others. o No dialogue. 3. Stillness (3 minutes)  Participants reflect on the introduction in silence. o Participants let images, feelings and body sensations come up. 4. Mirroring images (10 minutes)  Each participant shares the images, feelings, and sensations that came up. o No interference by others. o No dialogue. 5. Reflection and generative dialogue (10 minutes)  Participants ask questions between themselves with curiosity and with the intention to serve.
